saintkiptanui Posted 11 September, 2008 Author Posted 11 September, 2008 about £5,300 I went a bit over the top on the place winnings.
saintkiptanui Posted 11 September, 2008 Author Posted 11 September, 2008 Congratulations Skip. Thanks ponty, I knew sooner or later the gambling gods would smile down on me.
AwaySaint1 Posted 11 September, 2008 Posted 11 September, 2008 Well done that man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I often read you tip posts, about time you had a good win.
saintkiptanui Posted 11 September, 2008 Author Posted 11 September, 2008 Thanks, I'm feeling love at the moment. Maybe this is how a lottery winner feels but TBH I have a feeling of guilt and feel I have to give everyone i know some money, must get over that feeling, it's not that much. I think if I won the lottery I would be racked with guilt and end up killing myself.
TopGun Posted 11 September, 2008 Posted 11 September, 2008 So how much is a 50p E/W super yankee Kippy?
saintkiptanui Posted 12 September, 2008 Author Posted 12 September, 2008 £26 Just picked the money up, they had to give me two envelopes to put it all in, it was one of my favourites moments ever, I gave the bird on the till £20, thought I'd share the wealth and love:smt060
Essruu Posted 12 September, 2008 Posted 12 September, 2008 I'm genuinely pleased for you, but your well documented failures prove that, like most people, you're generally pretty rubbish at gambling. The trouble is, this win will surely only encourage you to continue with your gambling ways and maybe gamble even more often or for higher stakes. You got lucky this time. You should thank your lucky stars and quit now, but you won't; in fact, I doubt you'll give up until you've spunked it all away, gambled even more and lost everything; including your loved ones who eventually give up on you. You should enjoy the money and accept that you had a lucky escape, but I have a feeling that when you're an old man you'll end up sat in a bookies, nipping outside to smoke your roll-ups every now and again and with each betting slip that you screw up and bin you'll be left pondering all that you've thrown away and lost in your life thanks to you're gambling.
Kaiser Soze Posted 12 September, 2008 Posted 12 September, 2008 lol @ Essruu What would you have won if that other horse came in? Fair play mate
saintkiptanui Posted 12 September, 2008 Author Posted 12 September, 2008 lol @ Essruu What would you have won if that other horse came in? Fair play mate£46,000:eek: now that is a fair chunk. Essruu I have indeed re-invested a little bit today and had a bad start but I put 5 grand in my savings account and thats where it will stay (maybe)
Hatch Posted 12 September, 2008 Posted 12 September, 2008 The gambling habit never goes away. Ask for bank manager for references.
Johnny Shearer Posted 12 September, 2008 Posted 12 September, 2008 Nice going Skip. You lucky c**t! The only time I gamble is the Grand National and I still don't know how to fill out accumulators properly!
