Huffton Posted 25 October, 2009 Posted 25 October, 2009 American soccerball, meh. Bet the keeper feels a bit of a tit though
gaz Posted 25 October, 2009 Posted 25 October, 2009 I bet it was scored in the 4th PowerPlay of Triple Threat Sudden Death Extra Overtime. On the 5th drive of the 3rd Down.

hamster Posted 25 October, 2009 Posted 25 October, 2009 Kelvin should have had a pop yesterday imo, that time hteir goalie came right out. Everyone was screaming at him to have a go in Itchen North.

RedAndWhite91 Posted 25 October, 2009 Posted 25 October, 2009 "Calm Down"! He should try watching Saints from where we've been sat the last few years. Too right!!! And he should have had a pop, their comedy keeper was practically on the half way line when he cleared that ball, and he slipped over!
hamster Posted 25 October, 2009 Posted 25 October, 2009 Too right!!! And he should have had a pop, their comedy keeper was practically on the half way line when he cleared that ball, and he slipped over! Can you imagine it? Even if had gone no-where near I bet their keeper would have fell over running back. Proper funny. I have a suspicion actually as to why he didn't try it. I thinkj they have a sort of 'keeper's code of honour' and as we all know Kelvin is a decent bloke who was probably feeling sorry for the chap. Funny as it was for us, it must have been horrible for him. Now then RnR, if we miis the play-offs by 1 goal I will write Kelvin a strongly worded e-mail, make no mistake.

Haha it would have been quality if he had tried it... I must admit I did feel a bit sorry for the keeper, but it didn't stop me joining in the mind-games! Good shout about a code of honour there, didn't think of that to be honest, I just assumed he didn't want to give possession away cheaply.. I can imagine KD adhering to something like that, BUT, if we do miss the play-offs by one goal you can add my name to that e-mail!!
