When the head of the Saudi FA said no one he knew had ever heard of Al Faraj.....

Now c'mon, be honest, has ANYONE ever heard of this week's owner.

Sweepstake on who gets to own them next week anyone?

So let me get this right now is that a short term loan to pay off the other short term loan that Al Faraj has just taken out to pay off the loans & monthly wages that Al Faraj paid Fahim's loans off off with, or is this a short term loan to pay off some of their other loans they owe.

Can anyone help as I'm becoming confused with all these short term loans they currently have at the moment. ;)

Funny that Fahim keeps saying he has the right to buy the land.

Sounds to me like Gaydamak still owns that then or else has a charge over it to cover money still owed to him by PFC.

Makes you wonder what exactly the Faraj lot have bought. Must just be the club and maybe the stadium. Well, I suppose they might get their £5m back one day... if they're lucky.

Well spotted.

I think the most pertinent part of the article is.....

"He added that he still has the right to buy land around Fratton Park that may be pivotal in any proposed redevelopment of the stadium for the city's 2018 World Cup bid".

There is an interesting snippet in the latest Private Eye on this very subject.

The fake Dr was far, far, far to jubilant and smug about the land for it not to be true.

I've now doubt that the proviso of him selling on 90% of the club was him keeping the land surrounding FP.

I'm confident that the Saudis own PFC and FP only, and that's on tick anyway!
