Last time we won 4 league games in a row was in our playoff year under burley.

leeds 3-0, hull 4-2, brum 4-3, luton 2-1

....then after that we went to Southend and lost

Not sure on the 5 wins in all comps though...don't think we did that in our playoff year...

Anyone know last time we won 5 games in a row in all comps?

Was it in Jan or Feb 1992, under Branfoot? Seem to remember 5 straight league wins took us away from the bottom 3 in about a month.

noticed LO lost 4-0 today so should be an easy 3 points next week too.

Please stop. :(

You even did the godforsaken "easy, easy, easy" in the post match thread. If we lose, I'm holding you fully responsible!

I wish people wouldn't say things like this. Perhaps they'll have bouncebackability..? Who knows..? No game is actually easy, and I bloody well hope the players don't hold the same opinion either. It's one thing to be confident, and another to underestimate the opposition.

Today.

The Torquay game was a technically a draw.

It's five league wins in a row which I'm excited about - the cup game doesn't count for me.

I don't bother with technicalities, we won on penalties, we got through to the next round, it's basically a win!

A win is where you score more goals than the other team. The game against Torquay was 2-2. Thats a draw, isnt it? Saints went through to the next round on penalties, but did not win the match. The run of 4 league wins is a great performance, and there's every chance of extending it against Leyton O.

goals scored in the Penalty Shootout are still goals, no?
