benjii Posted 25 October, 2009 Share Posted 25 October, 2009 It did become very comic the way that any kick that did stay in landed plum on Jaidi's head. It was also hilarious how, given this GK sub-plot, we pressed them into playing so many back passes. He must've been thinking, "Oh, for fu.....". hamster Posted 25 October, 2009 Share Posted 25 October, 2009 Maybe we should just change the words to all the songs so they are factually correct. Here's one: A lot of us follow Southampton Over land, but rarely sea, and not Portsmouth anymore A lot of us follow Southaammpttonnn Onttoo victoryyy, but also draws and losses. All together now Or how about we don't change a thing, yeah, that's a much better option. Not quite ALL, it usually loses a momentum by then. And was yeasterday the first time in a very long time that the Northam weren't the Northam over there? The Itchen were definitley The Itchen over 'ere, cos I was over 'ere with them. "Some of us together now!" Pretty sure we did sing it, then got no reply.... Perhaps the ferocious noise levels of the away fans blocked it out.. Hmm.. I looked over to the Itchen North and saw one man beckoning on 1,000 MK Don fans by himself. Wasn't you was it hamster?

No, I met them at the station and their numbers had dwindled by then so I left it. There was lots of laughter actually yesterday wasn't there, it's what we all go to the football for isn't it? And it's back.

Ahhh fair enough Yeah there was, especially the whole goalkeeper episode and the chants of 'Wimbledon'. I bet they get it every week, but made me laugh nonetheless. Supporting Saints is now good fun again, agree with that mate.
saintchris23 Posted 26 October, 2009 Share Posted 26 October, 2009 I actually have a sound and valid point, shared by many. I agree that adding 'Hampshire' into the song instead 'League One' is a much better idea also. I don't understand the vilification my ideas have received, but this is a forum and everone is entitled to their own opinion.......or so I thought. Anyway, I'm off to work, you lot enjoy half-term.
