CanadaSaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I get the distinct impression that Papa Waigo is far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer.
nickfinks Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I get the distinct impression that Papa Waigo is far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer. indeed, rather blunt
Bairdylegend Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 2-0 to Dons, final score..... u heard it here first. and ull hear it again at 4.45
nickfinks Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 2-0 to Dons, final score..... u heard it here first. and ull hear it again at 4.45 booooooooooooo
Liquidshokk Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I get the distinct impression that Papa Waigo is far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer. lol, yeah. The game isnt really played THAT differently in Italy is it?!?
sussexsaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Dons commentators just said they will be surprised if they win this!
John B Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I get the distinct impression that Papa Waigo is far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer. I was going to say that but thought better of it
Leicestersaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I still think we will win 3 - 1 but we really do have to make our chances count.
brightspark Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Dons commentators just said they will be surprised if they win this! Often a 2nd half is totally different to the 1st half, so I hope their right, but not too hopeful. Saints have never been good at breaking down the parked bus.
ericofarabia Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 MK Dons commentators still dubious about their chances of winning if we keep up our performance of the 1st half  The problem is they can't get much worse and there isn't much room for us to step up another gear.
CanadaSaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 2-0 to Dons, final score..... u heard it here first. and ull hear it again at 4.45 After using two posts to say the same thing, you only have one post left now don't you? Good.
John B Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I still think we will win 3 - 1 but we really do have to make our chances count. Not if MK close the game down Any idea what the substituation is about
ericofarabia Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Often a 2nd half is totally different to the 1st half, so I hope their wrong, but not too hopeful. Saints have never been good at breaking down the parked bus. Especially a parked bus that has only let in 3 goals in 6 away games
SuperMikey Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Papa may be having an off day today, but don't under-estimate the way that he has changed our play over the last few games. We wouldn't be in the form that we are if he wasn't at the club, his width is vital. Imo we should play a 4-4-2 in the second half, take Wotton off and bring Connolly on, because he is a goalscorer and that is what we need. Wotton won't be as effective in the CM role as he is at CDM. ----------Davis------------ James--Jaidi--Trot--Harding ----Morgan--Hammond----- Papa----------------Lallana ----Lambert--Connolly------ COYR!
CanadaSaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I was going to say that but thought better of it I hope I haven't been un-PC. Never know these days.
ericofarabia Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Puncheon lets loose a shot ... goes so wide its a throw. Pity he didn't do that with the free kick
John B Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 I hope I haven't been un-PC. Never know these days. Yes I agree with you about Waigio
CanadaSaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Papa may be having an off day today, but don't under-estimate the way that he has changed our play over the last few games. We wouldn't be in the form that we are if he wasn't at the club, his width is vital. COYR! As a huge believer in width, I'm not underestimating what he's brought to us. I'm voicing frustration at his continual offsides and inability to take a legal throw-in. The hard stuff he does quite well. The simple stuff he screws up.
suewhistle Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Ho hum, I was thinking before the game that having a big expectant crowd always seems to backfire on Saints. Not necessarily how well they play but the infernal bloomin result..
Saint Bones Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Surely we should be able to get past Powell... ( Hopes ) and thne of course past the keeper
maxi_sopez Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 easter being mentioned loads sounds dangerous
brightspark Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 McGoldrick scores for Forest. Its funny how these kind of messages are reduced when we are winning games. I suppose all we can do is weep and feel sorry for ourselves
Under Weststand Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Connolly & Antonio on for Saints Wooton & Waigo off COYR
westofshannonsaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 if scores stay the same, we are back on bottom. COYS
VectisSaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 easter being mentioned loads sounds dangerous Blimey its not even christmas yet
ericofarabia Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Solent commentary still stuttering, I've heard more plaudits for Saints on the MK Dons site than you ever hear on ours Double early sub ... Waigo and Wotton off and Antonio and DC on very attacking change and nicely timed to screw up Inces HT talk. Antonio already has a chance ..... COYRs
sussexsaint Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!
nickfinks Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 score god dam it, then score again, pretty please
brightspark Posted 24 October, 2009 Posted 24 October, 2009 Instant impression from Antonia- nice cross Good but also frustrating, every chance we fail to take, the time ticks by, and it looks like we may throw this one needlessly away. Losing will effect confidence, something that Saints players seem to be able to damage easily. We must at least draw - COYR
