That is what we now have the chance to do, that "turnaround in fortunes" will make it the story which the TV likes. And we will deliver. Very very nice, the final exorcism.

We should save ourselves for the league and the JPT IMO. Nah, because we'll get the Mancs again in the 3rd Round and by then, this time, we will scare the cr*p out of them.

Setanta shared the rights last season but I don't think anyone has taken over their half of the deal yet.

It's an unexciting draw and I had been hoping for some more interesting lower-league ground but our daughter lives about 3 miles from the Memorial ground so we could make a weekend of it. I presume that it is just a choice between the Saturday and the Sunday? No Friday or Monday nights, for instance? We went there for the previous fiasco so it would be satisfying to get some revenge. Another defeat would be unthinkable .

ericofarabia Posted 27 October, 2009 Posted 27 October, 2009 Signed up ages ago to go a dinner party that night, which meant i end up missing The Happy Mondays, Ocean Colour Scene, The Courteeners and Gabriella Cilmi here in Dubai, now I'm likely to miss out on The Cup Match Commentary Might have to suggest that we adjourn back to my place after the meal and a few drinks at the hotel and sneak out to the back room and catch the commentary whilst everybody else drinks my booze supply. Will probably be steamed up anyway (starting at 6.30) and won't remember the score by the time it ends at 0200 our time :cool:

Charlton are on tv on the sunday I think so we should be a fair bit more fresh than them. They are playing some non league side while we're playing one of the best teams in our league, I reckon they will rest their key players.

Probably not a particularly easy place to go although Charlton shouldn't have too much difficulty with them.

Ooooooooh, nice try but it suits me down to a tee. I live in Bristol, but I'm working on Saturday morning, so I may well not have made it to a 3pm kick off. Should also be a bit less traffic around that time.
