Scudamore Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 The Wispa bar is to make a full comeback following a successful campaign on social networking websites http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/7539810.stm ------------------------------ This is strirling news IMO. Maybe if i hadn't spent all my money on crack and registering for this website i'd be able to buy one. Wispa Gold remains one of my favorite chocolate bars of all time... And so i shall steal the BBC's idea from this morning... What confectionery would you botters like to see make a return? I'm thinking those honeycomb Yorkies and the old formula Fruit Gums...the ones that properly loosened fillings...
CabbageFace Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 I would like to see "Chocolate Cigarettes" make a comeback.
Scudamore Posted 5 August, 2008 Author Posted 5 August, 2008 I would like to see "Chocolate Cigarettes" make a comeback. I could roll you a chocolate cigar?
PompeyLass Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 They sold 20 million of them in about 7 weeks last year. Bestest chocolate bar by far. EVER. FACTAMUNDO.
Jillyanne Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 I would like to see "Chocolate Cigarettes" make a comeback. At least you could smoke them in the pub.
saint_stevo Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 i liked wispas. i also like the ones sold to me by my friend, Dave Yau
Master Bates Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 Michael Barrymore has been found dead in his Essex mansion with chocolate round his bum. The word on the street is George Michael was careless with a wispa.

Julian H. Cope Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 I would fully endorse the return of Texan Bars Apparently they made a brief return in 2005 for one month.
saint_stevo Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 I would like Lucky Charms to come back. Can buy them in Bournemouth in a Sweet City but at £7.50 a box!!
Al de Man Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 I would dunk a Wispa bar in hot chocolate and then suck it for an extreme sugar rush.
revolution saint Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 Yeah let's get sucked into subtle advertising. It's just chocolate! No different from aero really. Can't remember many people gutted when Wispa disappeared so why so nostalgic now?
saint_stevo Posted 5 August, 2008 Posted 5 August, 2008 Lolocaust caused a LOL from me. your no better than cabbage
ozzmeister Posted 7 August, 2008 Posted 7 August, 2008 Maverick bars were good, and so filling, had pretty much everything in!
Scummer Posted 7 August, 2008 Posted 7 August, 2008 No different from aero really. Wispa is quite different to Aero.
Scudamore Posted 7 August, 2008 Author Posted 7 August, 2008 Wispa is quite different to Aero. F'sure. It's like saying a Tunnocks Caramel bar... ...is the same as a Drifter... They ain't the same despite being the same on paper...both f::cking lahhvely mind...
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 7 August, 2008 Posted 7 August, 2008 Wispa is quite different to Aero. One is cadburys the other nestle. Its like Dairy Milk and Galaxy. One is chocolate heaven and the other leaves a fruckin horrid soap like taste in your mouth. FWIW I think you cant beat a Lion Bar, Boost or Toffee Crisp
SNSUN Posted 7 August, 2008 Posted 7 August, 2008 I would bring back Marathon bars. They were my favourite chocolate bar when I was a child in the 80's, then for some reason they just did away with them. My life has been an empty void since then, forever hoping they would reappear...

Master Bates Posted 7 August, 2008 Posted 7 August, 2008 Joking? How do you mean? Marathon bars are now Snickers, but you knew that already.
SNSUN Posted 7 August, 2008 Posted 7 August, 2008 Marathon bars are now Snickers, but you knew that already. Y-You what? Snickers? Is this another of your jokes MB? Years of therapy, thousands upon thousands of pounds wasted, and all the time Marathons were wearing camouflage gear. :-(
Master Bates Posted 7 August, 2008 Posted 7 August, 2008 Snickers is a chocolate bar made by Mars, Incorporated. It consists of peanut butter nougat topped with roasted peanuts and caramel covered with milk chocolate. Snickers is the best selling chocolate bar of all time and has annual global sales of US$2 billion. The original Snickers was formerly sold as Marathon in the UK and Ireland. More recently, Snickers Marathon branded nutrition bars have been sold in some markets. In May 2008, Mars, Incorporated was rumoured to temporarily re-launch the Marathon bar.
