just read on SSN that hes been placed on gardening leave while cheltnam 'investigate allegations', assistant manager is in charge of 1st team affairs until further notice.

Not surprisingly the story is front page news in the Gloucestershire Echo.The story is in the above link.

 

This is the second drink fuelled incident involving Allen in Cheltenham town centre.

 

He has not been the resounding success that people had hoped for although I'm sure he would blame it all on the clubs financial plight.Rather like Burley at one time,it was widely rumoured the club wanted to sack him but could not afford to.This might give the club the chance to get rid.

Ouch, doesn't look good from that article, and I just read he was responsible for the financial problems (51 players used in a season?!). It wasn't that long ago that his name was being put around as a possible Pearson replacement here.
