Looks like DMG isn't doing too well. But to be fair to him Forest seem to have like 5 young strikers. Would not be surprised to see him sold on in January/summer. Wonder if we have a sell on clause!

Pity Drew has not been playing. Can't help but think he is a fine example of what Pardew was talking about at the fans forum. That some players move to early and it hinders their career. Because if they stayed a season or so more they would of been playing games. Surely you learn more and progress further by playing games opposed to sitting on the bench or in his case playing in the reserves. It is a shame because he could have done ok with us this year.

I think at the time it was more a case of the club needing the money than him really wanting to move.

Walcott keeps getting injured - result of Lowe insisting he play too much too young perhaps?

(PS: Not a Lowe dig - genuine question regarding his tender years playing at Saints).

To be fair, his latest injury can be put down to the flying defender who clattered him, rather than the number of games he played 3/4 years ago.

Stoke actually have SIX current ex Saints (though Andrew Davies is on loan as noted above).

Henri Camara is a free agent, or at least was 3 weeks ago when I last checked.

Rudi Skacel has signed...

...for Slavia Prague (or was it Sparta)? He's not clubless anyway.

Roy Hodgson mentioned Baird in an interview last night on FiveLive when describing some of the "less frequently chosen players" and their role in the Europa League / Premier League balancing act. He basically said they've swapped all 11 players from match to match sometimes this season and they're treating it as an experience rather than trying to win the thing.

Try reading what I said - "his tender years" not "he played for us for years. OK - now take your foot out of your mouth and start again....

I tend to believe Mr Wenger knows what he is doing when buying players more than fans.

It is a shame Surman had to go as on last year's form he would be holding the left midfield place, which might have made a difference in some of those early season games that were lost or drawn. The money from the transfer kept the club going before the sale went through, but its hard to believe that the administrators would have let the whole thing fall apart if there had been no bid for Drew, or if he had refused to go, but the lure of a Prem club - even one likely to be relegated was understandable.

Fabrice Fernandes now has a new career generating electricty in a wind farm in France

Actually he is surprisingly listed as a former professional footballer, having been released by Dinamo Bucharest, currently on the books of Le Havre but has not yet made an appearance. For a player who has not even reached his 30th birthday yet his descent down the slippery slope since his days under WGS are quite spectacular.

What was that story with him scoffing about 5 Big Macs after the FA Cup Final or something?!?!

Go on then - what on earth happened to Theo in these "tender years" at Saints that have so wrecked his career just the, errr, three and a half years later then?

And he signed for Arsenal when he was SIXTEEN so barely even an adult, meaning plenty of his "tender years" were spent at Arsenal. But of course he didn't have Rupert Lowe kicking him in the shins every morning at London Colney.

I can't remember a word said about him playing any more than any other promising youth player, but you obviously know different. Do tell.

I've got my foot in my mouth, have I - you're just making stuff up.

If he's doing that badly and Davies moves him on in Jan its unlikely to be for a profit so it wouldn't matter if we have a sell on clause or not.

Peter Madsen is playing at Brondby as is Mikael Nilsson, who also still gets into the Sweden national XI for strange reasons.

Ronnie Ekelund is now working as Technical Advisor at San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS.

Anders Svensson is playing at Elfsborg in the Swedish Premier Leauge.

been getting quite a few i think

Is that mean he was mis-managed seriously during his time in here? Even though he had an excellent game for us, he never looks like can score regularly.

He must be enjoying playing with the other donkeys on the beach don't you think?

Plays alongside Brett Ormerod & Stephen Crainey. ( Jermaine Wright was released in August at the end of his one year contract ).

Shows what a decent manager holloway is.

I bet he was laughed at on here when suggested to be our manager... Very much so by the forum "experts"
