Well given I reported a far worse post a while back which was aimed personally at me and nothing at all was done I would not hold your breath. Sorry to say but as with the old S4E forum it seems who you are does matter. You dont know that nothing was done. I have had a lot of communication with mods about the infraction system, since I have picked up infractions and been banned. They've pointed out to me that they take reported posts very seriously, as their only way of fool-proofingly policing the site. They do not sit and police all posts on all threads, they dont have the time. They do not enter into dicussions with people about the infractions other people pick up, so you dont know what action they took, but I am prepared to go out on a limb and say that they probably did something about it.
Thedelldays Posted 18 October, 2009 Author Posted 18 October, 2009 personally...im sick of it now, been posting less and less (some would say that is a good thing lol)..... the "do we have the best squad in the league" thread was another example of a good mixture of opinions...some of which raised little points that i (or others) never thought about..that is the beauty of this place and that people see things very differently and dont agree....and it was hijacked and ruined by someone laying into another poster....for what reason..? they dont agree with them... and yes, through my utter annoyance i reacted as the personal digs serve no purpose and (on that instance) ruined a good thread.. I have been guilty of it in the past and was rightly banned for it....but jesus, can we not just agree to disagree at times..?

I got banned twice..once was for a wee while then for good...was allowed back in that "clean slate" and have generally avoided the personal remarks....it just brings this place down...

I had 3 seperate stretches (bans) back in the GB days - clocked up close to 50 infraction points in a few months. Between us we forced the mods to partrol this site full time......... We liked an arguement back then, but cant remember anyone posting nonsense like we have seen today from SW. Very sad! I believe i've seen an apology from Will though so maybe time to drop it!?

I expressed the opinion I would be more comfortable if Trotman were a real saints player instead of a loan. I'm sure you'll agree - very controversial, very provocative...
