I remmber orient in the cup very well....jampacked we were, urine flowing down the terracing people couldnt mopve and noone knew where the bogs where anyway...started off loads of the old time songs too..."i carnt read" etc, lots of trouble and yes the rumour was some got stabbed, got bushwhacked by four guys on the bridge outside with my mate but gave good account of ourselves...was wearing my cut-off faded jean jacket with winged saints hells angel style on the back plus other saints "patches"..was like a walking target i guess but didnt give a toss those days following saints........if the atmosphere is half as good as that then this will be another memorable away day...

It's no surprise there was trouble that day if some weirdo started singing that, they'd deserve to get smacked...

Most were packed onto the terrace behind the goal but I remember quite a number of 'Wagon' lads were down the side (in the stand we'll be in in a couple of weeks) and had a bit-of-bother. Was also the day some of the 'infamous' ICF turned up...about an hour before anyone else did!

because i'm a lazy arse, since when do saints sell out this early for an away game in League One? They all crawl out the woodworks when we start winning.

TBF, we nearly always take around 3k to London games, given the ticket allocation. Still there should be plenty of room in the home sections, so you should still be able to get in if you want to.

Me and 6 others going up on the train, cant see it posted on here but is there a pub/area that most fans will be drinking?

I posted this on the other thread.

http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16739

Now for the important stuff - the pubs...

The Birkbeck Tavern

The Coach and Horses

http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/38/386/Coach_and_Horses/Leyton

Both seem to allow away fans. Any more suggestions?

For those thinking of buying tickets in the home section of the East Stand i have bad news. The 500 or so empty seats are the seats on the old terrace that runs along the front of the side stand. These seats are used as an overflow so in effect we'll be taking 3100 fans with room for 3600 fans. This makes logistic sense given the tickets are issued as unreserved seating.

Note the Charlton fans at the front of the stand.

Check out the link from the Orient messageboard.

"3,100 is still 500 short of capacity for the East Stand which presumably means that the front bit will be cordoned off."

"They don't sell them the front bit, but because everyone sits wherever they want, the front bit gets used as overflow."

Fantastic effort over 3000 away fans been really impressed with our away support this season even in the dark days of last season there were some great turnouts in numbers & vocal support Reading Watford & Forest were all excellent to name a few this season looks like being even better with the feel good factor coming back.

Dont underestimate the belief & help to the team fantastic support like our's brings, just finished Le Tiss book and in it he mentions Dellhurst Park & Derby for the play off semi the club & the team take notice & apprieciate the effort the fans are making AP has made mention of it a few times and if we keep getting wins & good performances that support will continue to grow.

A lot of people are proud once again to be a Saint I say to the team & the fans keep up the good work.

Go for the home end mate. It would be great to if it could be like Loftus Road was a couple of years ago, when there were another 100 or so Saints fans (including myself and a few mates) in their home end. Sitting on our hands, and trying not to bring attention to ourselves...until the second goal went in! Should be a cracking day out. Never been to Brisbane Road, but I have ominously good feelings about how this will go!

It makes no sense at all, stick some seat numbers on the tickets then they would be able to sell 500 more tickets. They have just done themselves out of 500 extra ticket sales.

The London Saints are in corporate hospitality, so that will be a few over 3,100.

I don't think it is that expensive, so it might be worth checking out, if you have missed out on the away end.

Hospitality Package price given to London Saints is £60 (£35 for Match ticket in Olympic Gallery + £25 for Carvery Lunch all drinks extra) we have 15 taking this up plus a further 6 just doing Carvery but with seats purchased from Saints.

Remember that well.... Went to pick up some car spares and realised was only 15 miles from stadium... Mrs and I sat in top of stand with home support.

that sounds like a really rubbish deal.

£25 for a carvery lunch with no drinks included to sit in an area of the ground with no atmosphere? leave it out. Pie in the ground £2.50 - sorted.

No different really to what they now charge at St Mary's (Channon Suite £50 + VAT, no drinks + hot snacks), but if people can't get a ticket and desperate to go might be an option for some.

Also had to laugh at the use of the term "olympic gallery" does that mean you can see the 2012 stadium from up there?

or do they actually mean you sit a bit higher up then everyone else for £35 it should be impressive.

I'm going to this game, and looking forward to it but am I the only person confused by all the hype? The way people are talking about tickets being goldust it's like the FA cup final all over again - it's East London in league 1 in October!

And it's not the recent run of form, people were getting excited way before that.

Perhaps I'm missing something.

I agree, I decided I was going to go this one several weeks ago, but I think the "hype" is just a reflection of the feel good factor that is flowing by the bucket load right now, after so many doom-laded years. e.g. How many times have we won 3 matches consecutively, two away, by more than 1 goal?!

I guess the feelgood factor is returning, plus a good ol' jolly in the smoke, and a ground that we're basically gonna take over for the day.

Orient must be kicking themselves over the income they've missed out on from this game!

A final, final 150 tickets are going to be put on sale on Tuesday morning at 9am according to the Official Twitter page. All those how missed out, get on those phones and the website early doors! COYR!

Manor House, a couple of us from the Harringay area are going. Will be taking the overland from Harringay Green Lanes; I think it's about 4 stops from Leytonstone. Be good to see some other Saints faces from the area. If you're about we'll probably be in the Beaconsfield pub until about 1.30-ish for a few pre match schwallies...
