I didn't realise how Bristolian Lloyd was (heard him interviewed on Solent just prior to Southend) so I can't help reading his reply with a Bristol accent.

 

On a slight tangent, has anyone noticed how much the guy at SMS who does the announcing of the car park being closed to home supporters after the game sounds like Jason Dodd? Have a listen next home game.

Is that serious? Because that is really weird you should sy that, at the Totton match Lancashire in the second half, same over and was talking to his Dad about his performance, all the other young lads, James included, where mucking about, laughing and joking by the tunnel or shed..

 

maybe that explains something about his performances! Going on loan for 6 months will do that lad the world of good.. There is a quality defender in there somewhere!

I reckon he could be a quailty defender as well. But you are right he needs to go out on loan get some games and confidence. I can't see him improving by playing in the reserves for Saints.
