Lapland mid December - absolutely brilliant.

Thanks I have booked to go to Iceland for the New Year and one of my must do's is dog sledding as this has been a long standing dream of mine, but am finding it difficult to find anyone in Iceland offering it at that time of the year.

Dogs smell and do watch out for all the steaming t * rds that will inevitably get laid throughout your trip.

Must have really needed one! I never remember things like that.

 

Except when I was about 8, I really needed a wee on the way to Gatwick airport and we were running late. So my parents did the honourable thing. Pulled over, picked up some random coke can by the side of the M23 and passed it to me. I've never been able to wee in public since. I'm cubical bound too.

I've been sledding and I've been dogging, but never the two things at the same time. Sounds cool though.

If you ever get the chance to go down a floodlit tobogan course at night, do it. I've done it twice and I swear it's the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on.
