Woot! :D

William Hill have put out their odds on who will headline the festival on Sunday, the favourites are The Rolling Stones at 4/1, with Coldplay and David Bowie at 8/1.

Personally, i'd love to see David Bowie, hope that he plays. My personal preference for headliners this year would be Radiohead, REM and David Bowie, that would be insane!

(Here's the article with the odds on btw, in case anyone wants to put a bet on)

Saw Mr.Bowie last time he played there and was brilliant. I'd like to see Stevie Wonder, Radiohead and Led Zeppelin headline.

Robert Plant was on a footy programme at the weekend. He's a big Wolves fan. His rock 'n roll lifestyle has taken it's toll - he looks about 95.

Was having a beer in the "Le Tissier's Feet" pre the Wolves FA Cup game in 2003.

Unfortuntely, their yoof also made an appearance and everyone cleared the pub...

I can remember when Glastonphant was good.

Still is, you just need to know were to look!

Glasto Organisers have confirmed Muse for Saturday night and admit Stevie Wonder is on their 'dream list' for Sunday - Ferkin' Ace (this is according to the BBC Radio 1 news, so i'm guessing at what they actually said because the newsreaders speak like yoofs!)

Looks like Mr Wonder may happen, I personally think it has the potential to be brilliant:

I'm not fussed who plays really, just glad to be there again.

Won't be one the year after so make the most of it folks.

Looks like they are doing Glasto '11:

Oh good. I'm not sure what their policy is on dropping a year now. They didn't have one in 20001 or 2006 so I assumed 2011 would be the same.

Maybe the farm recovers enough for them not to bother, either that or the money!

Glastonbury have brought forward the 2012 Glastonbury to what would have been the off year of 2011 due to the Olympics. Apparently most of the equipment Glastonbury hires in is needed for the Olympics not to mention the hired in security bobs. Well that's what we've been told for the last 2 or 3 years.

Pretty gutted if i'm honest. The Jazz world was one of my favourite stages. Fun Lovin' Criminals & Eddie Grant were some of my highlights in '08. It is a cracking little area with a great feel and atmosphere, hope it manages to maintain this.

Into the unknown of the late resale at the weekend after my permanent registration forgot to tell me the tickets were on sale late last year.

But also have a hlaf hope that a mate of mine will be sub-contracting a lot of the stage work. If so he knows he owes me big time for his RWC final ticket in 03. fingers crossed.

Will be weird seeing Muse there. Had an onstage photographers pass for them here 2 years ago and they had no more than 5,000 people watching they were awesome, with a mega crowd should be special.

And yes Eddie Grant was superb.

Are you sure it was Muse? They weren't at Glasto two years ago and headlined it in 2004 in front of tens of thousands of people.

I've seen all three in Glasto past......

I'd like Led, that would rock.

Unlikely Led will be there, cant see them not headlining, and seeing as the headliners have been announced (U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder) seems unlikely.

Meant to post this a while ago.

Courtesy of the members of eFestivals.co.uk, I bring you a Spotify playlist comprised of acts who are confirmed or TBC for this year's festival. Some cracking songs on there, and i'll certainly be going to see a few artists that I wouldn't have gone to see before after listening to them on this.

Oh, and it updates when a new act is confirmed, so you're always getting new stuff on there. Cracking.

Interesting playlist. Not sure about the strength of the validity some of these additions are, though saying that I'm hoping on hope of all hopes that the Pixies do make an appearance.

Well, it's been going for a while, so a lot of the stuff on there was based on hearsay and rumours, but the stuff that's being added recently is all from bands who are playing or very likely to play.

New announcement today!

http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/news/west-holts-stage-and-line-up-announced

West Holts (aka JazzWorld) lineup announced, looks quite good to me!

Mos Def, Devendra Banhart, George Clinton, The Bees, Tunng...

I've never actually watched a band at the JazzWorld stage, but I could be spending a lot of time there this year!

Although the music isn't to everyone's taste, for me Jazz world is the nicest area of the festival to spend some time.

Sitting in the sun under the flags having a beer. It's also the best bar as well.

Words can literally not express how happy I am that Dan Mangan is playing! I've been waiting to see him for ages, and now I get to see him at the best festival in the world... I wonder if this is because I tweeted Emily Eavis asking her to book him?

The lineup is looking pretty damn good, i've got some serious clashes going on already and there's still loads of bands to be announced...eek! :D

Unreal. The Pyramid Stage has to be the worst line-up ever but the Other Stage JP Stage look amazing.

REALLY? U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder what more could you want? The Other stage and the JP stage and even the bloody Dance tent look great as well.

I hope you're taking into account it takes roughly 20-30 mins to walk between the stages, more the later it is?

Yeah, i'll be mostly switching between Other and John Peel, that takes about 20 minutes if busy, 10 if not. Don't mind missing parts of some sets!

Ok, people who go for the first time think its a 5 min. stroll between the stages! Are you just going to watch bands the whole time?

Shakira has been added to the Pyramid stage on Saturday

http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/news/shakira-added-to-2010-line-up

There have been rumours kicking around about this, so its unsurprising. Also rumours that Hot Chip are keen to do a duet with her, could be interesting. I caught Hot Chip in '08 and Wiley came out and did Rolex Sweep with them, was quite a fun little duo so why not?

I'm sorry, but you are seriously thinking about missing Muse and Stevie on the Pyramid? You HAVE to see at least one of the headliners on the Pyramid, its such a special atmosphere. Don't get me wrong I do like Jamie T, but this is Muse headlining Glasto - this will be one you want to say you were at, as well as Stevie. Besides Jamie T tours every few months you can see him more or less whenever
