Thedelldays Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 bit childish i know...but always seem to have a favourite player... however, as the team is growing together as such, don't know who to choose.... my possibles.. Kelvin - great pro and example at the club Hammond - deffo captain material and a beast in the middle of the park Morgan - I really rate him Lambert - say no more Lallana - local lad coming good hmmmmmmmmmmm
forever a red and white Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Schneiderlin - love the way he plays the game and hope he can do great things at saints
RedAndWhite91 Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 It's a choice between KD, Jaidi, Hammond and Lambert for me.
Genk Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 I'm a big Hammond fan but Lambert just pips him. He's such a lad and quality footballer.
Tac-tics Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Lambert with a soft spot for Harding.....te he
ottery st mary Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 I like all the big butch players with some agression...it helps if they have some pleasant manners after they have kicked someone....like helping them off the deck after they have been treated. The soft cuddly players can stay in the reserves.
Deanovski Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 i want to love papa waigo and i want him to be good =] but i like schneiderlin i want him to be a saints star.
MINIBARCELONASAINT Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Schneiderlin is my fav i think lallana is dump in midfield better upfront
barney Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 After yesterday LAMBERT, class above anyone else.
shurlock Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Mellis is going to emerge as a big player in the next month.
St Marco Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Davis obviously, the man is class. But i think we can now add Hammond,Harding and Lambert to that list. Makes a change having good players who actually give a fook doesn't it.
oggiee Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Mellis is going to emerge as a big player in the next month. Isn't he going to be missing for most of it with England U20 games?
Saintandy666 Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 After watching papa a couple of games, I really like his style, and he is so fast and in a different league compared to the rest of the players in league one.
shurlock Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Isn't he going to be missing for most of it with England U20 games? Like the senior team, the U-19s are away between 9 and 14 October. Think they have three games in that time, so it definitely rules Mellis out of the Southend game and potentially the Oldham game.
Dig Dig Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Lambert! The player we have been missing since Beattie
saint_bert Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Lambert and Kelvin fo sho However Jaidi I have a soft spot for since all those blokes jumped on him after his goal at Carlisle and just stood there!!! Beast
Arizona Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 There is no stand out candidate for me yet, but there are several contenders. Lambert - 6 goals isn't too shaby, but half were penalties and 1 was against Northants in the CC. Will need to tap a few more away before I start believing the hype. Lallana - Nice to see he's found his shooting boots, if he can keep it up I'll be delighted. Let's hope it's not just a flash in the pan. Kelvin - Obviously Harding - Seems a very good, honnest hard working player at this level. Can't comment on Hammond or Smurf as I haven't seen them play yet.
Simon_UK Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 I'm a big fan of Dan Harding, he has given us something we have been missing for a long time, a Proper Left Back. I particularly like his tendancy to have a go at the ball boys when he dosent get the ball quick enough, shows his passion and commitment to the game, and if he wants to take a throw quickly and dosen't get another ball fast enough the ball boys get told to give it to him quicker.
southamptonfclegend Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Mellis is going to emerge as a big player in the next month. I think hes g*sh :smt070
georgeismyname Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 For me its between: Kelvin Davis - club legend, obvious reasons Dan Harding - rarely has a bad game, always solid Radhi Jaidi - ditto Harding and wins every header Adam Lallana - been fantastic in recent weeks Rickie Lambert - been fantastic since he signed, has been working hard on fitness, always gives 100%, if only he could get more service...

krissyboy31 Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 I think hes g*sh :smt070 Pretty gash yesterday, setting up both AL's goals and hitting the post!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Rodney Wallace. All 3 could still DAJFU IMO
sotonian Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 i want to love papa waigo and i want him to be good =] but i like schneiderlin i want him to be a saints star. as above

Rory Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 My favourite Smiths song is Reel Around The Fountain.
stuey Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 For me its between: Kelvin Davis - club legend, obvious reasons Dan Harding - rarely has a bad game, always solid Radhi Jaidi - ditto Harding and wins every header Adam Lallana - been fantastic in recent weeks Rickie Lambert - been fantastic since he signed, has been working hard on fitness, always gives 100%, if only he could get more service... Nothing to add to this... My thoughts EXACTLY!!!!
Ludwig Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 My favourite Smiths song is Reel Around The Fountain. I prefer 'Accept Yourself'.
Mr Saints Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Davis for his loyalty as he could quite clearly be playing at a higher level. Lambert for his all round ability and work ethic.
Atticus Finch of Maycomb Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Patrick Colleter. comedy Uve Rosler comedy Pulis comedy I'm gonna say... Kanchelskis! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
WestSaint Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Lambert, Hammond and Murty (shame about the proness to injury but I like his attitude)
Micky Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Kelvin - he could have easily taken the soft option but his professionalism was unswayed.
oxfordshire_saint Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Harding, because although he looks like a nancy boy and runs like a girl, he actually plays well. Oh and because Leeds fans hate him too, therefore, I like him.
trousers Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Rudi Skacel (well, he will be as soon as news comes through that he's signed at long last)
bjk Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 I hope we can keep Trotman I've been well impressed with him.
