The Godfather Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 Just a reminder that the Torquay match is a 7pm kick off, not 7.45pm.
bpsaint Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 Thats odd,how comes? Thanks for the reminder by the way, hope the club have made sure this is aware to everyone.
The Godfather Posted 3 October, 2009 Author Posted 3 October, 2009 Thats odd,how comes? Thanks for the reminder by the way, hope the club have made sure this is aware to everyone. I think all the games in this competition are 7pm start, not sure why though.
Red Alert Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 I think all the games in this competition are 7pm start, not sure why though. To make it a more family friendly competition. The thinking being that games are finished by 9, on a school night.

for_heaven's_Saint Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 Unless its all aquare after 90 minutes. In which case it goes straight to penalties I believe.
Simon_UK Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 Can someone tell Stuart Dennis that it is the Johnstone Paints trophy, not the fecking St Johnstone paints trophy, St Johnstone are a scottish football team, not a paint company.
Trumush Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 Pardew interviewed on Radio Solent said he would put out a strong team as they are taking the competition seriously.Good news for the fans going .
Fergie Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 i'm going for sure with 9 mates, all coming down on the train from Chichester University for the evening. Any idea how many fans might turn up? surely with the cheap ticket prices there should be a good turn-out right?
Simon_UK Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 They are only opening the Northam and the Itchen, I guess that gives an indication of the attendance expected

Jesus Reigned Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 I think the club has the pricing structure wrong for this; £10 for adult tickets in advance but £15 on the day. Why so? Actually irrelevant for me as I play football on a Tuesday so can't go anyway, but if I was able to I'd probably pay £10 but never £15 to watch Torquay in a Mickey Mouse cup.

I suspect that the ticket money gets split between the two clubs. If so, blame Torquay.

Sounds about right, our Ticket Office originally planned to only charge £5 for adults,I guess Torquay thought as we've got a big ground they'd try and make a bit of extra cash and raise the prices.
RonManager Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 Thats odd,how comes? So I can get the last train home, as long as it doesn't go to extra time!
The Tango Man Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 We could win a trophy this year with this so called mickey mouse trophy ..that would be good for the club .
ottery st mary Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 Can someone tell Stuart Dennis that it is the Johnstone Paints trophy, not the fecking St Johnstone paints trophy, St Johnstone are a scottish football team, not a paint company. I agree with Stuart calling it the St in honour of the team that will own this trophy this year.....I think Stuart and I may wish to reconsider this new title if anything goes wrong on Tuesday night.......3-0 to Saints v The Gulls in the St Johnstone paint with Dulux trophy.....Nice one Stuart Dennis:D
