Wade Garrett Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 What a ***t. "If we win tonight we'll have more points than Pompey". Wish he would keep his mouth shut. Am I being reasonable. Your thoughts please...
Wade Garrett Posted 29 September, 2009 Author Posted 29 September, 2009 Least of our worries. So I'll put you down in the unreasonable camp then. Fair enough.
S-Clarke Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Was it Stuart Dennis, or Justin who made that comment? Didn't see much of an issue with it at the time...but... I think we could do with Osman back, if im honest. I know alot of people don't agree, but he really did get the place going before KO - and it was certainly alot more interesting than what Stuart Dennis offers. It's not really a priority...but as the board are looking at all areas of the club, i'd hope this is another area they'd address.
hamster Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 /\ But MO made not one iota of a difference to the results, I'd stick with Stuart, after all he's lost his radio Hampshire job and has a young baby to feed. We are not the sort of club to get rid of people just because they are not very good at their job, we'd only have asquad of about 4 if we did that..
Wade Garrett Posted 29 September, 2009 Author Posted 29 September, 2009 I know it had nothing to do with the result! I don't want the poor lad sacked, especially if he has mouths to feed. I just wish we would stop gloating over Pompey, when we are in the sh*tcart as well.

We won most home games with Osman there, and we got into the top 6 in the championship. When he was brought back for the Sheff U game 2 years ago, we won it and the atmosphere was buzzing at K/O. I think he did make a difference.
La BoIS Saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 He was an annoying **** who wasn't half as funny as he thought he was.
hamster Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 /\ Was he not qute expensive? Maybe that money would be better spent on the squad? Actually, I'd be happier if they spent a few quid on getting The Albion Band down there tbh, they to my mind represent the 'spirit' of the city much better than a few oneliners and impersonations. And I'm sure that Mike made quips about Pompey too. End of the day, i spose it's all down to personal taste.
Redondo Saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 sack him and spend the money on giving the players oxygen masks at half time.
hamster Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Sack him and spend the money on getting MARK Dennis out of retirement at left back, maybe just get Mark to stand at the side of the pitch and stare the life out of our back four. Grrrrr. We need a new psycho and a new physio
Roger Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Stuart dennis needs to go. He stuck up for lowe far too much and was rude to anyone who had a go. Was a stupid comment to make tonight. We are 2 divisions below them ffs. Mike Osman is a different leage to him and needs to come back

Saint_clark Posted 30 September, 2009 Posted 30 September, 2009 Quite depressing that we saw the return of goal music today as well.

Your thoughts please... Well lots of posters on here said the same thing and it was factually correct Perhaps if he had said "If we win tonight we'll have less points than Pompey". you may have had a point but I would have thought that you have posted a pointless thread and only replying as I wait to take my daughter to work
Plumstead_Saint Posted 30 September, 2009 Posted 30 September, 2009 Quite depressing that we saw the return of goal music today as well. That sounds like the kiss of death to me

John B Posted 30 September, 2009 Posted 30 September, 2009 Yes. I did edit after I saw the error of my ways. I used to like the Albion Brass Band down at the Dell Especially throwing pennies in that contraption held by an overweight young man who is probably now a grandfather
ladysaint Posted 30 September, 2009 Posted 30 September, 2009 I cringed when I heard him say that, not all of us are obsessed with Pompey, its sad what South Coast football has come to really.

This aftrenoon I was chatting to that man's son, the last time he did it he got his head split open by a coin. True story. My Dad played in the Albion hence we were talking about it.
