If Alps was chairman he would insist that for every game his entire sub's bench consisted solely of out of work managers. Game would pan out as follows; 0-1 - Pardew get out of that technical area, Coppell your on, 0-2 - ffs Coppell you useless **** what are you playing at, wheres the width and why can't we finish, ref! sub - Dowie you're on, now get it sorted the defence is the least of our worries. 0-3 aaarrggghh, christ on a bike Dowie how long did you need 3 mins of your management and we let in another goal. 'Arry your on, no you can't have any money, what do you mean you can't improve the team unless you have a minimum budget of £30m it's League 1 ffs, and so on and before long it will be in George we trust.

 

Alpine's only justice lies in berating the manager of the day. Sometimes it's judged insightful as in Burley and others it's just a case of if he starts early enough on every manager that walks through the door then sometimes he can afford to look smug and sometimes we can drop the 's' as in Strachan's case and no doubt Pardew's.

 

Ironic some fans on here are displaying one of the most hated traits about Lowe and his managerial merry-go-around. Perhaps that was the problem those calling for Pardew are too similar to Lowe and hence their hatred of him, as it's well known opposites attract.
