Griffo Posted 29 September, 2009 Author Posted 29 September, 2009 It excited you that much? COYR You bet it did.
John B Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Team Saints: Davis, James, Jaidi, Trotman, Harding, Mellis, Hammond, Schneiderlin, N'Diaye, Lambert, Lallana. Subs: Forecast, Mills, Saganowski, Perry, Wotton, Holmes, Lancashire Similar to most peoples ideas I would have thought Still little width with no wingers playing
CWD Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 COYR im feeling positive about this one. but then i always feel positive
Ponty Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Right, some of us have no coverage whatsoever tonight, so any updates gratefully appreciated...
Griffo Posted 29 September, 2009 Author Posted 29 September, 2009 Apparently, Waigo wide right and Lallana looks to be playing just behind Lambert. Atmosphere sounds very good too.
benjii Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Waigo on the right wing, Mellis on the left and Lallana up front according to Dennis Rofe and the other chap on Solent.
benjii Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Griffo, listening to Solent by any chance?
Griffo Posted 29 September, 2009 Author Posted 29 September, 2009 Griffo, listening to Solent by any chance? Saints player? Are you telling me that Saints Player is just Radio Solent commentary? So really, I've paid up to Saints Player for nothing?
John B Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Right, some of us have no coverage whatsoever tonight, so any updates gratefully appreciated... I follow this http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8270971.stm
theyin Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Is Lawrie in attendance I wonder? I only ask because of a comment by Captain Swing here http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4654813.Michael_Wilde_ordered_to_compensate_former_employee/ What's all that about?
Ponty Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 I follow this http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8270971.stm Cheers, John There may be only a single update on there, as of right now, but that's still more than here
saint_stevo Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Ref: Deadman ! Linesman: Deadmau5 Is this a game?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 poor corner *gasp* same old same old
Charlie2008 Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Anyone got problems with Player coverage? I 'cannot connect to stream on the server'. Advice please... COYR.
leithsaint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 no problem here either. Bart in goal for barnsley against west brom tonight. Wait, that has nothing to do with Saints v Rovers.
leithsaint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 nothing much happened yet. saints pressing high up the pitch. Hammond getting stuck in . Saints need to be wary of being caught on the break.
NN2 Saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Anyone know the reason why we can never get commentary on Solent over the net? COYR's
benjii Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Saints player? Are you telling me that Saints Player is just Radio Solent commentary? So really, I've paid up to Saints Player for nothing? Um, yes. Although Solent don't broadcast on t'internet during matches so it's worth it if you're outside the catchment area and want to listen. Anyone got problems with Player coverage? I 'cannot connect to stream on the server'. Advice please... COYR. Keep refreshing / re-clicking "play" etc until it works.
benjii Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Anyone know the reason why we can never get commentary on Solent over the net? COYR's BBC only allowed to broadcast live within the regional catchment areas (and via distribution to Saints Player etc).
Viking Warrior Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Good support from the fans I shall be looking forward to going to my first home match as a season ticket holder this comming saturday. OttawaSaint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 FFS posts like this are not helpful, thought we'd been scored on...
Charlie2008 Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 working ok for me Working now...no drama...not sure what was wrong but enjoy the rest of the game.
alpine_saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Waigo on the right wing, Mellis on the left and Lallana up front according to Dennis Rofe and the other chap on Solent. FFS
CB Fry Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 BBC only allowed to broadcast live within the regional catchment areas (and via distribution to Saints Player etc). ...only because of the contracts the club drew up with TheSaint (ie itself) and subsequently radio hampshire and the ClubWorld/Player people. If the club didn't object we could all listen for free, there are clubs you can hear for free anywhere online.
Bartosz Bialkowski Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Working now...no drama...no sure what was wrong but enjoy the rest of the game. Mine's not working, first time working away all season perfect opportunity to use the service i've paid for and guess what.....
Ponty Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 FFS Hmmmm... Hopefully there'll be a bit of switching around between Papa, Adam and Mellis during the game. That should keep their defence interested.
SO16_Saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 end to end stuff by the sounds of things
NN2 Saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 BBC only allowed to broadcast live within the regional catchment areas (and via distribution to Saints Player etc). Cheers for clearing that up just have to keep up to date with the BBC updates and SSN. No point for me buying the Saints player as on a Sat i'll either be working or at the game
