Caught one on FX a while back, enjoyed it so bought Series 1 off ebay, a very very good watch. Features- Vampires, Sex, Violence, Vampire Sex (fangbangers) Violent Sex, Violent Vampire Sex....

Yeah Sookie is from X-Men, strangely alluring even though she has an almighty gap between her teeth. Gets her wangers out later on in the series.

This time it's in the guise of vampire romance/erotica, which just happens to be in vogue with teenage girls following the Twilight books and film. It's somewhere between Buffy and Dawson's Creek. It pretends to be about the horror, but really it's just about the soap opera.

It pretends to be about the horror, but really it's just about the soap opera. I concur. I've watched a couple of episodes of it now, and it's pretty girly. The main vampire Bill is the type of man that women are into; Brooding, mysterious, tall... etc. Nothing else to his character that appeals to the other sex really. I've never watched it and thought "I wish I could be like him". You want good Vampire drama? 'Let The Right One In'. Whether it's the book or the film, you can't go wrong.
Suhari Posted 15 October, 2009 Posted 15 October, 2009 Watched the second one on C4 last night. Nothing really interesting or exciting at all. Vampire sex is funny though. Good for the odd decent looking bird and set of baps, but overall very average.
