StuRomseySaint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 (edited) Going there on the weekend. Luckily my folks are going too so me and the missus will be able to offload the kids and go clubbing a couple of times. What clubs do people recommend out there? Also what excursions are recommended? I went to Hurghada last year and done Cairo/Pyramids etc. Lastly, what are the golf courses like? Spanks Edited 29 September, 2009 by StuRomseySaint
Dog Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 I haven't been back to Egypt since a bus exploded outside my hotel. Be on your guard.
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Go SCUBA diving. Still pretty good despite the over-use of the place. Forget the clubs, you're too old anyway.

I might do Scuba, or possibly snorkelling... which seems a bit easier. I also got asked for ID the other day.... despite being 30. I rock.
StuRomseySaint Posted 29 September, 2009 Author Posted 29 September, 2009 Club Pyramid is good, E's are cheap. No E's for me, dirty drugs.

Kadeem Hardison Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Why not take in your usual holiday sights, Stu? McDonald's, KFC, Burger King...
Rattlehead Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Sharm is a sh*thole and Hurghada an even bigger one. Diving good in Sharm though. Dahab better but Luxor is the best place in Egypt, and by some distance.
mack rill Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Why not take in your usual holiday sights, Stu? McDonald's, KFC, Burger King... Lol, Stuy dooy the ketchup song:D
red and white saint Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 The best club is pacha, would definately recommened quad biking in the desert. A good bar to watch football is The tavern they show every live game and have gillete soccer saturday on through the net only downside is the owners a skate. Also change your money up out there you get about a 10% better exchange rate thant here
Arizona Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 Camel Dive club in Sharm is pretty good. I even bumped into Simon Gillett there. Naama bay is good for a night out. We ended up in the hard rock cafe.
sotonjoe Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 It's full of chavs ... you'll fit RIGHT in.
LGTL Posted 30 September, 2009 Posted 30 September, 2009 Clubs will be dead out there in October. They are dead in July, so don't expect too much.

Winnersaint Posted 30 September, 2009 Posted 30 September, 2009 Hope you have a good'un. Never been to Sharm, but spent two weeks in Makadi Bay on other side of Red Sea. Best holiday we've had in years. All inclusive too. Anyway get a decent mask and snorkel and enjoy, there is still plenty to see on Red Sea reefs. I don't do clubbing due to advancing years (50+) so can't comment but, weather is reliable and in our experience the people can't do enough for you particularly if you are going 5 star.
Dannyboy_Saint Posted 30 September, 2009 Posted 30 September, 2009 Getting my open water diving qualification at Andark over here before going out in a few weeks. Really looking forward to it.
