Whatever you do, don't accept a lift from St Will or kpturner, unless you want to die or be responsible for the death of a small child.

I have one of these Graffito - gives the same discount for up to 4 people travelling with you so if 2 / 3 people regularly go together you could get one between you. If there are 4 of you the group save would prob be the cheaper option

As someone who regularly goes the other way to games.

The train is good but expensive.

Greyhound has a great service with 2 feet of leg room and reclining chairs and also great customer service. ie they gave me a free ride because a competitors coach didnt turn up last Saturday. They also have free wifi, sockets for comps and free papers. If you book early, its £2.50 return and its also 45 mins quicker than NE as the coaches are direct.

National is also cheap but you are packed in like sardines and the coaches are usually very hot and they dont use the AC. They also stop at Winchester, basingstoke and Heathrow.

LOL - Now your are going to upset OP with your wind up trolling. By the way, which part of "I was not driving" don't you comprehend?

Driving down from Berkshire for the game, where's the best place to park? I was going to drive to Winchester and get the train - any better ideas?

Sainsburys/M&S at Hedge End is a good bet and convenient for the free bus ride.

Untried for evening matches however. Unsure of availability of buses that way around 10.

Good luck anyway. Wish I could go...working in Cornwall at 07:30 Weds. :(
