benjii Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 As no Mod appears arsed to make a match sticky thread.... ------------------KD------------ James----Trotsky----Jaidi-----Harding Mellis---SPiderspvigs----Hammond----Mills -------------Lallana------------ -------------Lambert-----------
hypochondriac Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 Very interesting team today. I'm interested to see how Lallana and Mills perform.
benjii Posted 26 September, 2009 Author Posted 26 September, 2009 Yeah, in theory it could be great but if Mellis, Mills and Lallana don't work out what they need to do and when it could be a pretty dire afternoon. Will also be important for Hammond to get up and help out Lambert IMO to give the three mentioned above a platform to play from.

Is Ian Harte at lb for Carlisle ? Hopefully he is slowing down a bit now as he must be about 59.At least it seems so as he has been on the 'HCDAJFU' lists for about thirty years.
benjii Posted 26 September, 2009 Author Posted 26 September, 2009 I have a feeling Mellis could have a good game today actually. Don't know why - just do!

madruss Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 I have a feeling Mellis could have a good game today actually. Don't know why - just do! He surely can't play worse than he did against Colchester, although he did have a better game as a sub vs Charlton. Here's hoping
saints-cris Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 If that is the team, then id like to think lallana would have a good game, as it is his best position? Come on Saints.
madruss Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 Papa's fit enough for the bench, as is Holmes. Good to have options if things aren't going well
SO16_Saint Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 in all reality, that team should be good enough to beat most teams in this division. The only weakness would be down the left IMO.
Legod Third Coming Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 MASSIVE GAME for us now. We can win the race to 1 point!!!!
revolution saint Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 As no Mod appears arsed to make a match sticky thread.... ------------------KD------------ James----Trotsky----Jaidi-----Harding Mellis---SPiderspvigs----Hammond----Mills -------------Lallana------------ -------------Lambert----------- I'm happy enough with that. Looks like it's got a bit of fight in it and Mills should be able to give a bit of width. Given the injuries it's probably the team I'd have gone with.

Stu Man Do Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 I wonder if Perry would be a better option as a right back? Could his added experience shore up that side? Opinions?
beatlesaint Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 I wonder if Perry would be a better option as a right back? Could his added experience shore up that side? Opinions? Thats what I would have done to be honest, he's played there before during his career.
benjii Posted 26 September, 2009 Author Posted 26 September, 2009 I wonder if Perry would be a better option as a right back? Could his added experience shore up that side? Opinions? TBH, I think we should be looking to dominate the game and James offers us more than Perry on the ball. If their left winger is big and strong then we may wish Thomas was playing though. Anyone know anything about Carlisle's left winger?!
