chrisobee Posted 25 September, 2009 Share Posted 25 September, 2009 A predictable recovery to 131/5 off 29. 200 will probably be enough TBH

chrisobee Posted 25 September, 2009 Share Posted 25 September, 2009 Lost 2 early wickets but Shah and Collingwod have taken us to 56/2 off 16 overs. SL only batted 47.3 overs, as long as we don't get bowled out we should win only needing 4.5 per over. Trouble is what odds we do get bowled out! It was but Sri Lanka really did not take defeat very well, the pitch did not "suit them" it seems. Well it's in SA, what do they expect ? England for all their poor ODI performances generally play on pitches that are not like pitches here in England. Very sporting of Strauss to recall Matthews after he was "run out" following a collision with Matthews and fair play to Matthews who went over and thanked Strauss when he was actually out. That was more in the spirit of the game than Sangakkara giving England no credit at all in his post match interview, very poor.
