We have a thread about six year olds so i thought who is the oldest regular home games watcher of the saints currently attending.

My Mum And Dad are 76 but i am sure there must be older people than that.

I can tell you of one pensioner who it won't be. ;)

(just as well, as he can't hold a candle to your folks - or do they get freebies on their pension?)

Last time i was sat in the Kingsland Stand i didn't see anyone on my row of seats who looked under 76.

When my grandparents were alive I remember them telling me about when they used to go to the Dell in the 1920's. Back then not many ladies went to football. My grandparents stopped going in the late 1960's.

I am involved at AFC Totton and we have two lovely old boy supporters who were at the first ever Totton match at Testwood Park in 1933. One is 90 and the other is 86. It will be quite sad for them next year, because we are moving to a new ground in Calmore.

My dad first took me to watch Saints when I was five, he's now 81 and I take him. He actually "retired as a season ticket holder" when we left the dell but renewed at the beginning of this season. We now have 3 generations as my son and daughter are season ticket holders as well.

My grandad is 83 and still has his season ticket with my dad and my nephew! Before I came to Spain I had a season ticket for 16 years with them as well. When i get over to see games, all four generations go at the same time!

Is 19C talking about McMenemy?

Who else would someone with a near-terminal case of "Obsessional McMenemyae Disorder" be talking about?

I hear any re-run of the 1976 FA Cup Final video in the care home throws him into a such a foaming mess it frightens all the other inmates half to death.

Hahaha

Well 19C is wrong cos he keeps going on about Lawrie Mac being the oldest and what-not, but he is only 73, and the OP's mum and dad are 76.

Hold on a minute; 73 - 76 = -3.

No; thats ok, you are right.

I reckon a lot of saints fans will see all the seasons at st mary's. i reckon it will last about 50 years before we get a new one.

'tis true. I'm pushing 100 and still remember my first game when I was a nipper. The Dell was quite new then, and we had just joined the newly formed Football League. I remember when we got into Division 2. I went to pretty much every match after that except for a brief hiatus during the war.

Ah Bath Saint. Do you remember when we went to our first game together? We were arguing about who had been supporting the Saints longest (I still maintain it was me as I'd had a season ticket for longer up til then - I know you have since). Must be getting on for 50 years ago now, you old codger!
