They have lost their way, and I've always said their are too many lawyers in the Parliamentary party. The compensation culture is good for lawyers but bad for the country in general, and is the fault of the Labour party.

I still prefer them to the odious Tories though. I don't suppose I would if I had a few quid, or was in line for a £1million+ inheritance though.

'they' are planning on introducing a ruling where if you are driving a car and have an accident/scrape etc with a cyclist (no matter how small) will ALWAYS be the fault of the car driver regardless..

looking after the drivers again I see..

Better make sure the cyclist is dead then, no witnesses.

This is, predictably, from the Daily Mail, and is NOT a proposal from the Government.....

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1214856/Motorists-blamed-accidents-cyclists-fault--says-Government-advisor.html

Read the last line of the article : "'Cycling England has proposed it, but it is not something that is being considered by ministers.'"

Plus some interesting comments in the discussion underneath the main piece.

Don't let that get in the way of an unfounded rant.

Sounds as bad as a 'cones hotline', the only difference being that the government won't be daft enough to see it through.

On a thread that Delldays was one of the posters defending the English Defense League.

"Am I the only one who thinks everything which leads up to topics like this is because of certain media outlets?"

I think it was pretty much proven with this thread.

not defending them tend to want to usderstand what or why they are saying what they say...not as if the BNP are growing are they...hold on

Why is Carol Smillie proudly showing off photos of her 14 year old daughter?

Especially when said daughter looks like a Biafran refugee and has a face like a slapped arse.

Thought this was always the case ! if it were the case that you wouldn't be prejudged I could of damaged soooo many cyclists in my driving 'career', too many take for granted that you the car driver will pre-empt their action.
