Zoostorm Laptop......

Right had a Zoostorm laptop bought in for me to fix, it wouldn't get past POST so wiped it and chucked XP on, but can't find any drivers for it anywhere, nor can i find any mention of the model number on it anywhere!

 

Any ideas? Open it up and check what board its got??

Thats about the only website i found to be any use, d/lded the WLAN drivers, but it keeps saying radio is off, even when i enable it! Bloody thing

Have you worked out which model of PC / motherboard it is yet ?

Cant turn the f*cking radio on tho! Its an Atheros WLAN card and utility but it wont turn on, no switch on the side, have removed and reseated the card and still nothing.

Did the wireless ever work, or is it only since it cr@pped out and needed rebuilding ? Reason for asking is the quality contol is not as good as it should be and some cards are reported as being wired incorrectly inside the chassis.

i have no idea mate, it never got past POST when i had it originally, and the client is on holiday
