SuperMikey Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 I really lost all interest after Saw IV. There doesn't seem to be any original concepts in Hollywood at the moment, just sequels, prequels and 'reboots' of older films. Having said that, I am quite hyped to see the Predator reboot, and also the Alien prequel and the Thing prequel/sequel/remake/whatever it's going to be. So basically, i've just completely contradicted myself.
SuperMikey Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 I know, but i'm still excited to see them. Kay?
Ponty Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 Kay. Perhaps you missed the excitement of them the first time around so i can forgive you for that.
Robsk II Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 It's all to do with the global econonmic crisis - selling brands that are already established guarantees an audience, even if the output is risible.
warsash saint Posted 23 September, 2009 Posted 23 September, 2009 I'm looking foward to the remake of Escape form New York (as long as it's better than the god-damn awful Escape from LA)
