St Chalet Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 I went with my two year old son. There were only two other Saints fans so when I went after half an hour because he was bored and it halved the Saints travelling support. Penalty never was, karma for Saturday me thinks. Positives from what I saw is that Papa looks good on the right, Holmes and Mills looked sharp playing together. Bart is a worry though - one flap and one Ben Foster moment.

Avenger Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 Mooney dusted himself down to stroke home the penalty right footed into the corner, sending Saints number one Bartosz Bialkowski the wrong way. What do they know that we dont?

Saint_clark Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ReservesNews/0,,10280~1805134,00.html What a sh*t piece of writing, doesn't mention the actual score anywhere. Call me lazy but I don't want to have to read every word of that to find out what it was.

I know that the independent one went down hill after Graham Hiley left but it was much better than this sh!te.

chrisobee Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 Well the result is now in the 1st sentence !

Call me lazy but I don't want to have to read every word of that to find out what it was. won't call you lazy, maybe illiterate! first sentence and they even put it in bold to try to help those who find reading hard! The reserves suffered their first defeat of the season in a 2-0 defeat against a strong Reading side on Tuesday afternoon.

They've added the 2-0 bit since and although I haven't looked, if that is the way the sentence is constructed on the OS, I would suggest that they are the ones who are illiterate.
