He did say that but didn't give any timescale which was a bit disappointing !

I did say the other day, i saw him on saturday. He seems to think he will be off of crutches in a week, then hopefully can start running in 2 weeks.

 

I asked how long he believed the whole rehab could take and he said he honestly does not know, he still needs to speak to the surgeon.

 

Didn't sound too promising to me.

He is on 5live now. Said has his brace off and is hoping to be running in a week or two. At first thought it was a career ender but not too bad. Said that he sees physio from 9-4 everyday which is a perk of being a footballer.

 

Comes across as very decent guy, hopefully he will be back soon!

i'm sure i saw him briefly at the open training session, down by the tunnel signing some autographs.don't think he had crutches but there were a lot of nippers in the way.

He was still on crutches at the open training session but with no cast on his leg. When asked when he'd be back he just said "soon".

Nope. Thomas has been a revelation at right back, would be a shame to see him lose his place - and I suspect he won't for as long as we're keeping clean sheets.

I would love him to be back ASAP but Thomas has been a pleasant surprise - anyone know if he has shaken his knock off? he looked a bit wobbly towards the end on Saturday
