ladysaint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Bloke at the back giving a speech!! Do you have a question, mate????????????????? Sounds like Perry to me.
Draino76 Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Oops - care to take that back ? Consider it done LMAO.
beatlesaint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 lol @ this bloke ''big club mentality'' ''yeovil were looking on in ore'' ''buy us the team and we'll pack the stadium'' weird speech. Its Perry McMillan btw !!
trousers Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Sod the price of the beer. It's the quality of the beer they need to get right. FFS
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Pardew says that Kelvin is the best captain he has experienced as a manager - gets a round of applause.
the saint in winchester Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Its Perry McMillan btw !! Is it? And no-one knew his name! haha. Pards loves Kel Davis, and has just kissed him on the cheek. :-)
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 "Thommo throws someone to the floor, as usual"
saint lard Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Glowing endorsment from AP reference Kelvins captaincy, "best captain he has ever worked with"
S-Clarke Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Kelvin is the best captain Pard's has experienced as a manager. Kelvin sorts out the systems (discipline etc) - arranges days out etc Kelvin will remain captain as long as pard's is here.
S-Clarke Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 "Thommo throws someone to the floor, as usual" that was brilliant lol
the saint in winchester Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 KD will be captain as long as I'm here! But maybe an outfield captain for the ref to talk with. (agree that, AP)
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Murty was signed on a contract based on his fitness.
beatlesaint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Is it? And no-one knew his name! haha. Pards loves Kel Davis, and has just kissed him on the cheek. :-) Oh yes, we were lucky he didnt talk up to the 8.00 news !!
Tractor_Saint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Worried about the way AP is talking about Murty...
SaintDonkey Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 The more I hear from Pardew the more I like him.
S-Clarke Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Murty update..... His pay structure is designed around playing time, as we knew about his fitness and injury history. States we're missing Murts, didn't give an update on how long - but he's nagging him to get fit.
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Will this be on listen again or anything?
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Some players don't want to go home from training apparently.
ericofarabia Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Taliking about training .. 95% of players work their nuts off
gaz Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Want a few more pacy players to push against the opposition in the final 3rd of the pitch.
S-Clarke Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Pace in the team...talking about Mclaggon, he's looking forward to seeing him play. Still believes we're lacking pace, would like 1 or 2 more players with ''electric'' pace. Need to get lads out before bringing them in.
the saint in winchester Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 "Too many players here; we are working on getting some out" oooh get you
Tractor_Saint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Nooo - let's have another hour - ENCORE ENCORE!
ericofarabia Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Hinting at getting rid of deadwood to allow youngsters to come thru.
gaz Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 A team of profesionals playing in the reserves!
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Taliking about training .. 95% of players work their nuts off 5% of our players out
Ludwig Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Nooo - let's have another hour - ENCOUR ENCOUR! indeed.
the saint in winchester Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 it's all over. My judgement - honest, open, a brilliant session.
S-Clarke Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Pards came across brilliantly tonight. He speaks so much sense it's untrue. - it's weird, not used to it!
Draino76 Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Well that left me incredibly impressed with AP.
gaz Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Overall, a fantastic insight, hope this happens a lot more often, or just an extra hour of it. And in Nic we trust!
ladysaint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Carlisle is going to be a culture shock, he obviously hasnt travelled down the M27.
Tractor_Saint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 He speaks so much sense it's untrue Fantastic oxymoron made me lol - thanks
s0108787 Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 really enjoyed listening to that. I have more confidence than ever in what is going on behind the scenes now at SMS and hope that Pardew gets the chnace to put his plans into action long term
NickG Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Will this be on listen again or anything? was last year
krissyboy31 Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Nooo - let's have another hour - ENCORE ENCORE! Absolutely that 55 mins just flew by!!
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Hinting at getting rid of deadwood to allow youngsters to come thru. My guess is Molyneux, Lancashire, Saville, Pulis, Gillett, Forecast will all be on their way out if Pards gets his way.
S-Clarke Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Fantastic oxymoron made me lol - thanks .
krissyboy31 Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Carlisle is going to be a culture shock, he obviously hasnt travelled down the M27. No culture down there!!
S-Clarke Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 My guess is Molyneux, Lancashire, Saville, Pulis, Gillett, Forecast will all be on their way out if Pards gets his way. When did we actually sign Saville? I didn't know we had him untill a couple of months ago He's slipped under the raydar to say the least.
red&white56 Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 That was great! If you didn't get chance to listen then I strongly advise you to try and catch it later, if it's available.
Matthew Le God Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Cortese, Pardew and Davis all dealt with the questions very well - and there were some idiotic questions. The most refreshing BBC Saints Forum ever!
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 When did we actually sign Saville? I didn't know we had him untill a couple of months ago He's slipped under the raydar to say the least. We were never actually told anything about him by the club, someone on here found out after speaking to Henderson at a reserve game I believe.
70's Mike Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 all very positive wished someone had asked where they expect to be in 5 years. could not go because in Leeds for work
Joesaint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 AP and NC were impressive, wondering about southampton council applying for the world cup host, I thought it was too late but if pompy dont get a new place can we be a back up for the south?
IronCitySaint Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Was really impressed with what appeared to be open and honest responses from AP. He seems to be on the same wavelength as most of the fans as to what needs to be done and where we are at the moment. Tonight was encouraging that we are heading in the right direction with the correct guys at the top and in the dugout.
St Marco Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Well i was very impressed with all of them to be honest. Pardew talks a lot of sense and is a breath of fresh air compared to the idiots we have had over the past year. It shows how difficult the job was right from the 1st day as getting ML in was a long process that makes the pinnacle guys look even worse then they already do. Even with the progress we have made more will come in time. I got the impression they want the fans to be realistic and that this season is about getting all the things sorted behind the scenes as well as in front. So good job i felt, better then the rubbish we have had over the years that is for sure.
Under Weststand Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Thought that was an open & very honest session from AP NC & KD. Seems to be ready to clear out some of the dead wood. Great that a football forum was mainly & strangely for us about FOOTBALL related things. Best thing to come out of tonight cast Iron confirmation that we are DEBT FREE
krissyboy31 Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 When did we actually sign Saville? I didn't know we had him untill a couple of months ago He's slipped under the raydar to say the least. Back in March. Signed as a second year scholar. AP may know him from his time at Reading, so may not be one they're looking to offload.
