Just out of interest, do we still need to have the Saints Trust and SISA?

That is something I will be eternally grateful for, and Messrs Liebherr, Cortese, Oldknow and Pardew should be allowed to get on with it.

QUOTE]

Supporters should never stop holding the owners of the club to account, whether that is through official supporter groups or their own initiatives; and especially not while Oldknow remains in situ.

I'm not against people making their feelings known - let's make that clear. I was at both the marches last season.

In fact, simple events like those for me, hold more weight than having several 'associations' running on an ongoing basis.

For me, the problem in the previous regime was that 'nobody wanted to listen' - now we have public examples, e.g Cortese taking on board valid points made and promising to address them (on Monday) - what do we want them to do?????

I feel that if one problem arises, an individual can at last feel confident that they won't be ignored by the club - why then do we need fan groups to do this?

As for Oldknow, can't comment - never met the man, but from reading on here and S4E then there have 'apparently' been issues in the past.

Whether that was down to the political chaos that was SFC PLC at that time or him, I'll leave that for someone with the necessary personal experience to judge.

I think a few people need to re read this thread.

I can't believe that positivity has been eraded within two games. Everything that was said and discussed that night is still valid.

12 managers and two relegations wasn't a coincidence.

Pardew hasn't got everything right (I've levelled that at him on here) but surely we've learnt something about chopping and changing

So Pardew is here for the next three seasons even if he is not up to the task?

By the way I am not saying he wont turn things around just concerned about what will happen if he does not.

Appreciate your sentiments Gemmel, but when we bought Lambert from Rovers 9 games ago I wasn't expecting to still be on minus points come October and seeing them 20 odd places above us.

Form is poor (even the one win v Yeovil was instantly forgettable apart from 2 dubious pens) and just off the top of my head there is no cohesion, pace, width or mental toughness. Some evidence of progress in these 4 areas would go some way to allieviate the growing frustration. Too early to consider AP's removal but if I was NC I would be keeping my eye on the movements of Steve Coppell now his self-imposed 6 month sabbatical is nearing its end. He was originally his first choice and Cortese could be forgiven for pangs of "what might have been".

We can not live on the Rupert is gone/we have no debt feelgood factor for too much longer.
