Thedelldays Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 the curse struck again... cracking game mind
ohwhenthesaints Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 Weren't the 4 minutes shown before City scored and then spent about a minute celebrating?
Saint in Paradise Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 For the first time in a very long time I was pleased MU won.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 Great game for a neutral, feel a bit sorry for City though.
Saint_Jonny Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 Brilliant game, just watched the highlights, so so so so so so good!
Hatch Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 Bellamy slapping that fan at the end.. LOL at a million game ban
RedAndWhite91 Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 Bellamy slapping that fan at the end.. LOL at a million game ban What happened exactly?!?! Didn't see that?!
Saint_Jonny Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 What happened exactly?!?! Didn't see that?! when a fan ran on to celebrate (a city fan) bellemy went over to him and gave a face slap (looked like he caught him well). No idea why he did it to one of his own? Tosser. 2 great goals though,
Al de Man Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 He will probably try to claim he was preventing a full scale pitch invasion like at Upton Park by nipping it in the bud.
Saint Samuel Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 Bellamy is a gifted player, but just a very nasty human being. The best game I've watched in a long time, though some shocking defending from both sides. Giggs was amazing, how is he still going at his age?!?
chrisobee Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Bellamy is a gifted player, but just a very nasty human being. The best game I've watched in a long time, though some shocking defending from both sides. Giggs was amazing, how is he still going at his age?!? My favourite non Saints player for many years. He's just the perfect professional, cannot recall him ever being involved in anything untoward, he's a manager's dream. I think any real football fan can only admire him, the goal he scored v Arsenal some years back in the FA Cup semi was simply magnificent. As for the game just finished watching the recording now and really glad I managed to avoid hearing the result. Some dreadful defending especially from City but the last 5 mins and the way the game ended was great to watch and how typical Giggs should set up Owen for the winner. Mark Hughes was so annoyed at the added time but it was pretty much spot on since the 4 added minutes started just as City scored and they did spend about a minute celebrating and then United made a substituton which automatically adds another 30 secs. At least the referee did not just pluck 7 minutes out of thin air!
chrisobee Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 Bellamy slapping that fan at the end.. LOL at a million game ban He had no need to get involved, what a prat!
chrisobee Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 No surprise the police are investigating. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5573562,00.html

No doubt he's a very talented player, he certainly showed that yesterday, but he does seem to attract contraversy wherever he goes. There was the whole golf club incident with John Arne Riise at Liverpool and before that he was trouble at Newcastle. I imagine he would be a difficult character to manage.

I was referring to Ryan Giggs !
Saint Samuel Posted 21 September, 2009 Posted 21 September, 2009 My bad, I agree with you about Giggs, my favourite Non Saints player of all time, glad to see he's still going strong.

I wasn't that specific but the clues it was Giggs were there TBH "He's just the perfect professional, cannot recall him ever being involved in anything untoward, he's a manager's dream. skintsaint Posted 22 September, 2009 Posted 22 September, 2009 Anyone listened to Hughes talking about bellends clash with the fan? He reckons the fan made an aggressive move towards Bellend, so Bellend raised his hand in a defensive manner towards the fan. Just in case anyone missed it, heres the fan being aggressive towards bellend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaGiY-IMe58

They should punish Hughes as well TBH since that kind of nonsense really sets such a bad example, why is it that reasonable people become plonkers when they become football managers!!
warsash saint Posted 23 September, 2009 Posted 23 September, 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/8269061.stm It's a good job we have such a strong organisation running our game
Hatch Posted 23 September, 2009 Posted 23 September, 2009 I can't believe Bellamy hasn't been charged by the FA. Hope Manchester Police now charge him.
chrisobee Posted 23 September, 2009 Posted 23 September, 2009 I can't believe Bellamy hasn't been charged by the FA. Hope Manchester Police now charge him. Indeed, that's extraordinary. What are the FA thinking of ?
KK the 2nd Posted 23 September, 2009 Posted 23 September, 2009 I can't believe Bellamy hasn't been charged by the FA. Hope Manchester Police now charge him. Clearly an open and shut case of the sh*t hitting the fan
chrisobee Posted 24 September, 2009 Posted 24 September, 2009 Clearly an open and shut case of the sh*t hitting the fan No police charge either :smt102 http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090924/tuk-police-drop-bellamy-fan-clash-probe-6323e80.html
Crab Lungs Posted 25 September, 2009 Posted 25 September, 2009 Don't go on the ****ing pitch, simple. I think any fan should be prepared to get a slap for entering the field of play. Whatever anyone thinks of Bellamy is up to him, but at least he didn't bottle confrontation.
