saint lard Posted 19 September, 2009 Author Posted 19 September, 2009 Saints: Davis Thomas Trotman Jaidi Harding James Hammond Schneiderlin Lallana Saganowski Lambert Alot of clubs would be more than happy wth that line up.
red&white56 Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Great to see Saga playing -let's hope he's up for it today!
silversaint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Looks like the strongest team of the season imho.
sydney_saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Don't think it'll be pretty but reckon it'll be 2-1 Saints, with us holding on for dear life at the end but hanging on to the win. It'll be nervy and I don't think my heart/doctor will be too happy with this but a scrappy win will do me fine.
sussexsaint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 OK paid for saints player so can actually listen this week - wonder who had a spreadbet on a goalkick in the first 30 s
alpine_saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 (edited) Looks like the strongest team of the season imho. But not by far the strongest we could put out. No width except Lallana, who cannot even cross from a dead ball. Edited 19 September, 2009 by alpine_saint
Glasgow_Saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Looks like the strongest team of the season imho. Stronger than any team we put out last season too
saint lard Posted 19 September, 2009 Author Posted 19 September, 2009 But by far the strongest we could put out. No width except Lallana, who cannot even cross from a dead ball. +1.
Verbal Kint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 But not by far the strongest we could put out. No width except Lallana, who cannot even cross from a dead ball. Agreed
ericofarabia Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Come on Saints, Yeovil have a keeper making his first start, lets get him under pressure early doors. Had a pre match bottle of Moet with a full English breakfast at 3 o clock (heavy night last night!!) now tucking into London Pride hope the game goes as well of the rest of the day for me so far! Come on you Reds.
ericofarabia Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Lambert setting up a free kick from 30 yards, off the wall nearly sets up Lalllana. Plenty of attacking football but no clear chances as yet.
saint lard Posted 19 September, 2009 Author Posted 19 September, 2009 Yeovil corner...comes too nothing
saint lard Posted 19 September, 2009 Author Posted 19 September, 2009 Header over the top from Yeovil.....
sussexsaint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is the commentary always this **** on the player - rabbiting on but not actually 'commentating'
Spudders Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is the commentary always this **** on the player - rabbiting on but not actually 'commentating' yes, but it gets worse. Sometime they go to other local matches to play goals, so if you are not paying full attention you think someone has scored in this game!
Saint Martini Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is the commentary always this **** on the player - rabbiting on but not actually 'commentating' I do miss the Saint.
ericofarabia Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is the commentary always this **** on the player - rabbiting on but not actually 'commentating' I said exactly the same last week ... hardly any actual live commentary, mainly a reflection on what happened 2 minutes previously. You've got the joys of missing action at SMS when they go off to Bomo, Skatesmuff or places like Eastleigh and Havent to look forward to :smt048
silversaint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spudders Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 get in!!!!! Now build on it saints, get another one sharpish!
alpine_saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is it stating the bleedin' obvious to say WE NEED TO SCORE A SECOND ???
Leicestersaint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Where is the width - I hope we get some crosses in today. We had better win this one.
Minsk Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Get in there!!! Well done Rickie. It's so nice to have someone who can take a penalty again. Now come on Saints, let's get a 2nd, and a 3rd, and a 4th.............
suewhistle Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is it stating the bleedin' obvious to say WE NEED TO SCORE A SECOND ??? Yes. Next..
silversaint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 I wonder how much bookies in southampton will have to pay out tonight!
revolution saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is it stating the bleedin' obvious to say WE NEED TO SCORE A SECOND ??? Bloody hell, you must be a coach or something! Surely you've played "at the top level before"?
ericofarabia Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 YAY ... earwig O earwig O earwig O .... 1-0 Are we going to be able to hold on to a lead for a change, and hopefully build on it big time. Corner to us, 20 mins in, Lalana still taking them despite pleas on here to get somebody else to take them. Comes to zilch ... no change there then.
aids victim Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Is it stating the bleedin' obvious to say WE NEED TO SCORE A SECOND ??? generally its a better idea to score more goals
alpine_saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Corner to us, 20 mins in, Lalana still taking them despite pleas on here to get somebody else to take them. Comes to zilch ... no change there then. This is getting so f**king annoying...
sussexsaint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 I see what you mean about commentary on the other games **** drifted off for a bit
alpine_saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 generally its a better idea to score more goals Something we've singularly failed to do this season against illustrious names such as Stockport County.
