Sour Mash Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 As the title says, anyone know how many tickets have been sold for tomorrow's game?
onthemarch Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 nope - would have thought yeovil would bring a half decent following though
Draino76 Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 they had sold 1200 app Saints not Pompey.
Sour Mash Posted 18 September, 2009 Author Posted 18 September, 2009 they had sold 1200 app Bit poor, I guess with pay on the day they'll make close to 2k, not bad as a percentage of their home support. Hopefully 18k+ for another home game!
Genk Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Yea would expect 18-19k after getting a decent point at Charlton
.comsaint Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 I fully expect around the 20,000 mark tomorrow - a lot of them hoping to see Papa make his home debut at some point.
Matthew Le God Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Bit poor, I guess with pay on the day they'll make close to 2k, ! Them taking 1,200 is like Southampton taking close to 10,000 to an away game! Last home gate for Yeovil was just over 3,000
Pokerchampion Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 its their cup final . not surprised Yeovil will be empty
Winchester_Saint Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Agree that there will probably be between 18-20k for tomorrow's game with everyone expecting a Saints win and witnessing a Saints win! COYR!
red&white56 Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Agree that there will probably be between 18-20k for tomorrow's game with everyone expecting a Saints win and witnessing a Saints win! COYR! Unfortunately i won't be there, but I'll still be cheering the lads on!
RonManager Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 I was only 13 out last home game so I'm going for 18,258.
Jesus Reigned Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 £10 tickets for local residents might help boost the attendance; I've bought 4 tickets for both Yeovil and Bristol Rovers as the promotion allows.

You could always do what my mate did, married on the afternoon of the Headingley test in 1981, which is instruct the ushers to have the game on the radio in the vestry. He got updates right through the ceremony....

CLOTH EARS Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Congratulations. You could always do what my mate did, married on the afternoon of the Headingley test in 1981, which is instruct the ushers to have the game on the radio in the vestry. He got updates right through the ceremony.... I was at a wedding last week, and i turned around during the ceremony to see by wifes brother in law with his earpiece in putting the thumbs up and signalling 1-0 and whispering Lal-lan-a, needless to say this didn't go down well with his missus!!!
Clapham Saint Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 Do people actually get married in the football season? My guess is 18,213. I'm getting married on the 8th May... Only date we could get at the venue we wanted. It was either then or leave it a year. Tough call!
S-Clarke Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 cracking attendance today, 19,971 i think. good stuff.
alehouseboys Posted 19 September, 2009 Posted 19 September, 2009 I'd guess it could've been over 20k today as we walked past the ticket office right on kick-off and the queues were still trailing back out into Britannia Road - some were obviously giving up and walking away.
