L1Minus10 Posted 16 May, 2014 Author Share Posted 16 May, 2014 Thanks Glen for a most entertaining read which is totally (unbiased - I made that up)to the point and informative, especially for those who don't/can't make the matches. Have a nice summer break and hopefully I'll be seeing you again next season. PS. How many pens have we been cheated out of this season? Off the top of my head - Norwich away, Everton away, Cardiff home, Villa away, Everton home, Man United home... I'm doing a season review at the moment so I'm sure I'll find others... Great season's read mate. Thank you for taking the trouble and sharing both your wit and rose-coloured spectacles for another season. Much enjoyed it - compulsive read every week! Cheers. Much appreciated. Cheers for providing a balanced, entertaining and really well written report every week without fail. It really is a must-read. I miss the chuckle brothers but I'm sure you don't. Long may the blog continue! Don't miss the Chuckle Brothers but the woman behind us this year was a ****ing pain in the arse - talked about anything but the game going on in front of her.... the boy from saints Posted 17 May, 2014 Share Posted 17 May, 2014 Just wanted to add my thanks for such a great read. I would seriously look forward to Tues mornings generally in the knowledge that the latest match review would be out. It's nice to read a mainly unbiased report from a Saints supporter's view - and it made me laugh! Cheers Billy!

Leslie Charteris Posted 5 July, 2014 Share Posted 5 July, 2014 (edited) Nice rant Billy, but there's little point in taking out on poor old Roy, he is just fulfilling his employer's wishes, as would any replacement. The FA is under the spell of the Premier League and couldn't possibly do anything to upset it or its members. They are all sucking at the tit of the cash cow that is modern football. Nobody really cares about the National team except for the fans and they don't pay for a Sky subscription to watch England! Wes Tender Posted 5 August, 2014 Share Posted 5 August, 2014 Your usual interesting and very readable insight into Saints. Only one point to make, Hans Hofstetter is a business lawyer specialising in corporate governance, not finance. However, it was he who made the "difficult financial situation" remark, so an easy error. Gareth Rogers is the bean-counter.

Winds me up that so many don't seem to know he's a Cortese stooge. Trouble is, as a rule, people still trust the BBC. Your usual interesting and very readable insight into Saints. Only one point to make, Hans Hofstetter is a business lawyer specialising in corporate governance, not finance. However, it was he who made the "difficult financial situation" remark, so an easy error. Gareth Rogers is the bean-counter. My mistake.... to be honest, I pay very little attention to lesser Board Members. That's a hangover from the Lowe/Wilde/Crouch days when it all got very boring "Ben Smith of the BBC – you are full of agenda driven **** and probably a complete ****ing liar" Can't argue with that. Ben Smith would - if Cortese allowed him to. Decent read, 1,2,4,5,6 for me 7,8 no way and 9, how naive are the people that do, f**k me they are out there though. Not sure about 3 but wouldn't be surpised if that is her long term plan FFP is another possible reason but that needs a better understanding than I am willing to subject myself to. The bit at the end where you mentioned Shaw in Twitter shock I have missed ! care to shed some light on this ? Great read as usual Glen ! He was being all pally with Lovren. The United fans had a go at him, the Saints fans had a go at him and the Liverpool fans had a go at him. He isn't the sharpest tool in the box methinks. Thanks Glen. John Boy Saint Posted 27 August, 2014 Share Posted 27 August, 2014 Whilst the World Cup reports were an enjoyable read. How great to have the balanced no holds barred Saints tinted match reports back, and as always an amusing read, the Photo heading for the WBA game was spot on, as when the board went up for 3 added minutes after the 90 the initial thought was oh good we can go home soon, tinged with 3 minutes Ref?!! You really must be a masochist to want to poke up with this for much longer. Cheers
