Nexstar Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Many people seem to think we'll rip them apart, over confidence perhaps? Saints 8 Yeovil 0
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Many people seem to think we'll rip them apart, over confidence perhaps? Saints 8 Yeovil 0 For this reason alone, we will lose.
Saint_Jonny Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 We're not a fun day out, apparently. http://www.ytfc.com/ytfc.mpl?action=View+Thread&thread=32416 Saints 2 Yeo-who 1
Saint_Jonny Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Another draw, what else ? Thats what my heads telling me also, we all KNOW it'll be 1-1 with a goal in either half.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Im going for 2-0 to Saints. Hopefully i will be proved wrong and we will win 5-0.
team-saint Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Southampton 3-0 Yeovil Town Trotman 17 Lallana 54 Saganowski 90+1
saint_stevo Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 We will lose. AP out...... Joke.....Saints 2-0 Yeovil
Toadhall Saint Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 2-0 to the Southampton boys. Yep thats my bet.
krissyboy31 Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 We're not a fun day out, apparently. http://www.ytfc.com/ytfc.mpl?action=View+Thread&thread=32416 Saints 2 Yeo-who 1 Well, they seem a dedicated bunch! Not!!
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 I'll go for Southampton 1 Yeovil 0. Yeovil not particularly posing much of a threat going forward but hard to break down at the back.
70's Mike Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 IF we score early then 3 nil Saints but the longer it goes without a goal ????????????
S-Clarke Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 IF we score early then 3 nil Saints but the longer it goes without a goal ???????????? Thats my fear - if we don't score early, then it will be a long long slog IMO. If we do get an early goal, it could be a big score.
saints triumph Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Heart says 2-0 head says 1-1 so 1-0 it is
krissyboy31 Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Thats my fear - if we don't score early, then it will be a long long slog IMO. If we do get an early goal, it could be a big score. Or it could be score an early goal, fail to take any of our many chances to make it 2 and concede an equaliser in the last 5 minutes.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Thats my fear - if we don't score early, then it will be a long long slog IMO. If we do get an early goal, it could be a big score. Yep - that's my feeling too. It will either be a draw or we'll win 3-0
St Marco Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 for some reason i got a feeling they will score 1st then we will go on from that to win maybe 2-1 or 3-1. Would be happy with either.
SFC Forever Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 I said 3-0 in prediction league and see no reason to change my mind.
krissyboy31 Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 I said 3-0 in prediction league and see no reason to change my mind. Ditto.
SuperMikey Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 A scrappy 1-0, with a goal from Lallana.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 I predict (with a high degree of confidence) that I'm going to be monumentally p*ssed off if we don't win this one - the cat's packing his bags and phoning for a Taxi as I write this .
alpine_saint Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 A 1-0 win for Saints, or 0-0. Dont think we will lose, tbh.
harvey Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 I think we're gonna come good on Saturday..........and I'm quite merry tonight so I'm gonna say 4-0 Saints
Fan The Flames Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 We will keep a clean sheet, I'll be pleased with more than 1 goal.
hamster Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 4-1 Hope we hear this saturday, it will make I laugh:
BridgnorthSaint Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 (edited) We will lose. AP out...... Joke.....Saints 2-0 Yeovil This is a joke...Right? Sorry - Specs on now ... Seen caption at the bottom Edited 17 September, 2009 by BridgnorthSaint mistake
carljack Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 A 1-0 win for Saints, or 0-0. Dont think we will lose, tbh. Had £500 to win £350 on betfair Alps, odds of 8/11 against a very poor yeovil side was too tempting! I have not put money on Saints for well over a year but think we have stabilised at long last. SAINT TILL I DIE!
geoffnut Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 This team don't know how to win, think it will be 0-0
Micky Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Big game, all round confidence could take a massive dive if we lose this one (won't do a lot for confidence if we only manage a draw either) - that said, Saints to win 2 - 0.
I remember Paul Rideout! Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Not wanting to be an a*se but is it just me who has read their website and thought that maybe they have a point. The gist as I understand it is that they are p*ssed off wth paying £22+ to watch a League 1 game. I certainly don't Marcus and the rest of the board but we have to remember that we have come down to a level of league with a fan who could never be called plastic (fellow relegation "big" teams excluded) and so the thought of spending £100 odd for a family day out cannot be countenanced. It's not Saints fault because we are a big club and so people will pay it but seems a bit sad that people are so put off from the thought of paying that much to see their local team that they'll sack it off. Probably me being old fashioned but live in Kingston so watch AFC Wimbledon every now and again and at that level football is actually quite fun (still get sh*t loads of t*ts though unfortunately)
red&white56 Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 I'll go for Southampton 1 Yeovil 0. Yeovil not particularly posing much of a threat going forward but hard to break down at the back. A dose of reality here - same for me 1-0

rick1976.4.38 Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 this is the start of our march up the league (i hope) 3-0 to saints, coyr
Genk Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Saints 3-1 Yeovil After going 1-0 down in the first 5 minutes, we score a flukey equaliser then start playing flowing football like Brazil
Professor Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Hope we don't score too many as the people around me will all stand up every time there's a goal, and it spoils my view, but I would like to see a win by three clear goals to wipe out the goals against deficit.
brightspark Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 If any game in any league will be 0-0 this weekend, its Saints v Yeovil.
lordswoodsaints Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 1-1 not good enough to stop the boos.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 This reads eerily like a 'cut & paste' from every other home game prediction thread we've had this season - only the names have changed . All those other home games have ended in draws , we're getting to the stage where that just won't be good enough anymore . No more excuses please . Saints 1 Yeovil 0 .
LaptopSaint Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Well, we are where we are. There are no easy games in this division. BUT THIS IS YEOVIL TOWN FFS! YEOVIL - SLOPING PITCH, GIANT-KILLERS, JUMPERS FOR GOALPOSTS, YEOVIL ****ING TOWN!!! 2-0 Saints. Come. On. You. Reds.
I remember Paul Rideout! Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 How much is it to get into AFC Wimbledon? £12 adults, £6 seniors and £2 kids. Cheap (ish) bar too with a proper burger/bovril van instead of our excellent catering
