Hatch Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 England bowling. 5 wides from first 2 overs. Good stuff!
stevegrant Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Now 2 wickets! 40/2 off 9.2 overs, Anderson's got Watson and Ponting cheaply. Extras have had a good summer, 11 in this game already...
bridge too far Posted 17 September, 2009 Posted 17 September, 2009 Just seen Paine get one in his groin. Didn't he also get one in his gentleman's vegetables at the Rose Bowl last week? God didn't design men very well, did he
Hatch Posted 17 September, 2009 Author Posted 17 September, 2009 why do we bat like this.. it is mind numbing

John B Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Absolutely dire! Who cares we did win back the ashes
Scummer Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Who cares we did win back the ashes The 140,000-odd people who paid £60+ for tickets care. It's been an absolute waste of time, and England don't appear to give a toss.
stevegrant Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 I paid £55 for my ticket for the Rose Bowl game, plus probably another £60 on food and drink. Fuck doing that again if we're not even going to attempt to learn from the basic mistakes we continue to make every single game.

Fuck doing that again if we're not even going to attempt to learn from the basic mistakes we continue to make every single game. Doesn't help matters when the captain admits at the beginning of the series that he doesn't think anyone is interested in it. With that attitude, it's no wonder we've lost every game.
Hatch Posted 18 September, 2009 Author Posted 18 September, 2009 They have got no chance of selling tickets for any of next years one dayers. No matter who we are playing.
Berkshire Saint Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 We're playing the Aussies in one dayers again next summer!
