Genk Posted 15 September, 2009 Share Posted 15 September, 2009 How long do you have to collect your winnings? You don't have to go back to the exact bookies where you put the bet on do you? Just the same company?
saint_stevo Posted 15 September, 2009 Share Posted 15 September, 2009 Just the same company, they will scan it and then probably phone it through to the shop where you place it. Not sure how long you get, probably about a year?

Hatch Posted 15 September, 2009 Share Posted 15 September, 2009 Being an accumulator novice, I know that you pick a number of games and whos going to win but whats the best way to go about it. How much on each match? Entirely your choice.. you chose the number of games and how much your stake is. For an accy your stake would cover all matches...ie 1 bet to try and guess all the correct results.

KK the 2nd Posted 17 September, 2009 Share Posted 17 September, 2009 I think it is normally 6 months in their rules however they will often payout longer than that, just not guaranteed to do so.
vico Posted 20 September, 2009 Share Posted 20 September, 2009 6 years to legally claim a debt I was told when I looked into it. I claimed a bet from 2003 in 2008 - was ladbrokes and I was told in the shop to write in to head office. They sent me a cheque!

For an accy your stake would cover all matches...ie 1 bet to try and guess all the correct results. Few weeks ago I put 10p on each game I chose (10 games), then £1 as the overall stake at the bottom. Winnings would have been £2.44. I clearly screwed it up. I have no idea what all the Single, Double, Triple stuff means on the sheet. Someone tell me where I'm going wrong. Not a clue how to fill out the sheet. Cheers

That way, in theory at least, you shouldn't go wrong!
.comsaint Posted 23 September, 2009 Share Posted 23 September, 2009 On the subject of footy betting... I've been playing the SkySports 'Super 6' for the last couple of weeks on a saturday. It's free to do - you just got to sign up. You have to predict the exact scores from Sky's 6 chosen matches that week (easier said than done of course!) - but it is free after all & the top prize is £100,000 - so not to be scoffed at. There is £5,000 each week for anyone predicting the most correct scores too. This week (for example) - two punters correctly forecast 4 correct scores & shared £2,500 each. The link is below for anyone interested. Good luck! http://super6.skysports.com/
Genk Posted 23 September, 2009 Author Share Posted 23 September, 2009 Whats the best bookies for online stuff then? Or are they all pretty much the same?

Just put a - in the middle of the box for away, home, draw for each game you want to bet on, then choose Accumulator for bet type and it has a stake box aswell, select how much you want, not per line but overall. It even tells you how much it would pay once you put it on
chrisobee Posted 23 September, 2009 Share Posted 23 September, 2009 Whats the best bookies for online stuff then? Or are they all pretty much the same? No by no means all the same. For a start aside from your regular bookies you have the betting exchanges, Betfair being the most well known. These sites gives details of loads of free bets and if you've not used many online bookies should be possible to clear a few hundred risk free though of course you need to know how to go about it ! http://bet72.com/ http://www.betrescue.com/homepage.shtml
