Man - there were some right ol' 2 & 8's in some of those videos George. Which geezer in a dress are you? heh the back of my head is in a couple of those vids ;).

.Good to see that they let people drink on the streets there. Is that always the case?....Oh yeah...Big time!....kinda helps make NOLA the place it is....The home of the "C ocktail" and probably the only City in the Country with a 'State legislated 'Official' drink, The "Sazarak."....... Then there's the Hand Grenade,...... "The Hurricane",..... "Drive Through Daquaries"..... "Huge Ass Beers To GO" ......Hell, there's even New Orleans ****tail tours, and where else to locateThe Museum of the American ****tail;)...Good summary of drinking in New Orlean here ;)...Well more specifically

I like the variation by some bloke - 'Who dat say we're gonna f*ck up the Colts'.

Where are you watching the game? Staying here in New Orleans....Thought a lot about going to Miami but New Orleans is definitely going to be the place to be! Are many traveling to Miami without tickets just to be part of it? A 'lot' more were going a week ago, until the news of the NFL and City restrictions on tailgating and alcohol started to filter through...most peeps without tickets have since canceled their Miami plans and are staying here...Hell, most of the the out of town 'Who Dat' Nation are heading to NOLA too....All the Cities hotels are at 100% and some! the In a couple of years the SB is in Indy - if the Saints make it there again then you'll have to come up here and we'll sort out a good pìss up. This assumes they ain't playing the Broncos - if that is the case then you can f**** off!!!

Really looking forward to the game on Sunday. What about you? lol lol lol

heh this last two weeks has been unreal, don't want it to end.....Not sure even 'winning' it, will top to the last couple of weeks

I'm too tired for the long haul.

Used to watch Grid Iron a lot back in the 1980's, [i've even got a mint 1987 Super Bowl XXI official programme].

PROGRAM21202145384_short.jpg

But I so wish they'd just get on with the f****** game..! I'm certainly not sticking around for 3 hours.

Little bit of Motorsport trivia. The BBC coverage is chaired by F1's Jake Humphries, and MotoGP's Matt Roberts is in the USA.

$160 in the pocket and a chance for George to shout WHO DAT!!!!!! Nice one mate - when you've calmed down let's hear all about the vibe in New Orleans.

One of the best SB's ever. From 10 points behind that was one hell of a win. Great game as well. 2 quality teams who will def be close to getting back there again next year. That onside kick was one of the best calls ever - they needed something to get them going and it doesn't get much better than that. Jammy c****s!!!! lol

First part of the treble.

Saints to win the SB.

Saints to get to Wembley.

Saints to beat Pompey.

I would quote one of my earlier posts about 'being worried about Saints winning the SB' - yeah I am a bit gutted cos this was the first year for ages I ain't backed em at the start of the season but ho hum. They were only about 20/1 anyway. When you've had em at 250/1 that didn't seem right!!!

Top stuff. Enjoyed it.

Prefer Saints win SB, Saints lift JP Trophy, Saints lift FA Cup :D

Awesome game. Been watching NFL for almost 30yrs and have never seen an onside kick to start a half. Brees was flawless, a complete machine. And you could see how much it meant to so many of them, loads of them in tears. Not much work being done in Louisiana tomorrow then :D

We aren't the 'Aints anymore - World Champions!! What a game - I couldn't sleep at all last night. Amazing. The defense played superb, out of their skin. Tracy Porter - what a guy.

Little bit of 'what came first' trivia, for you. Humphries has been doing the Superbowl for a few years now, much longer than F1.

how I didn't wake the whole bl**dy family up when Porter came charging down the field to score I'll never know!!

Touchdown ...... SAINTS!!!!!!!

Well done to the New Orleans Saints - one down and two more "Saints" victories to go

Well that was all a bit refrained George. Give it a couple of days and I expect to see BIG stuff hammering my screen!!!

What does anyone think about next seasons odds?

9/1 Colts

10/1 Saints

11/1 Chargers

12/1 Patriots

14/1 Cowboys, Vikings, Steelers

18/1 Packers

20/1 Eagles

22/1 Jets

23/1 Ravens

28/1 Giants

33/1 Falcons, Bengals, Titans

40/1 Cardinals, Texans, Dolphins

50/1 BRONCOS, 49ers

66/1 Panthers, Bears, Jaguars, Redskins

80/1 Seahawks

150/1 Bills, Browns

200/1 Lions, Chiefs, Raiders, Buccaneers

250/1 Rams

The one thing to note here is how open it is. A lot of teams are seen as having a chance. It's not like 1/2 Chelsea, 5/4 Man Utd 4/1 Arsenal & Lpool - 100/1 the rest.

I think the 9/1 Colts & 10/1 Saints look pretty good bets. They were by far the best 2 teams this season and I doubt much will change before the start of the next one. Saints will obviously now believe in themselves & I'm sure they will be going out on a limb to prove this season was no fluke.

Broncos are rumoured to be looking at McNabb:

http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/news/Story.asp?story_id=20225

Get him and keep Marshall & Doom & Dawkins etc and then the 50/1 above could have some value.

Anyway - that is it until September. Ya all have a good close-season ya hear.

Saints victory parade is at midnight our time I think (sadly I won't have got back from the MK Dons game). Sure to be some good videos from that. I watched a bit of them arriving at the airport yesterday.

If New Orleans had lost then how many people would have turned up at the airport to welcome them home? 2, 4, 7, 9 thousand?

The Colts had 11. Their support is diehard:

Judging by the picture in the article I think they got this estimate a bit wrong.

Plus I dunno why but I couldn't imagine the Colts head coach driving along one-handed waving the trophy out of the sunroof! He said he took the trophy to bed with him the night before ala Peter Osgood 1976. Top man.

Just got back from the parade.......un freaking believable...New Orleans regularly host's parades with 100k + on the streets, I thought i'd seen it all with with some of the 'Super Krewes' during Mardi Gras.....But this was something else...must have been close to a million!!!..... seriously!!!!!! The whole freaking city for miles and miles just became one giant parking lot from around noon today cars just parked and abandoned anywhere...on sidewalks, neutral grounds, hatched area's...anywhere ...just glad i only live a couple of blocks from the route heh

And that trophy sure looked sweet in Coach Payton's hands.....heh, i dont think he's let it go since it was handed to him on Sunday ;)

Not me or you George!

Hey - should be down in New Orleans in Sept on the weekend of the Panthers home game. What is your email? Would be good to sort out a pint or 10.

Sounds like a plan....you planning on getting tickets for the game ?

Yeah will prob end up at the game. Shame they just won the SB cos looking around now tickets are harder to get at a decent price. Can't you go back to being sh** again?

Will be staying in the Garden District from Thurs til Mon. You up for giving us a bar tour one night/day? Some good off the beaten track ones if you know any would be cool.

Drop me a line:

Mail me and I'll let you know who else is going to be there with me (a couple of people off of this board). I think we better not talk about politics. If we do then you best promise not to bring any guns along - ok?

Got a few bars lined up but most of it will be 'see what happens' - apart from the Saints game at 1pm on the Sunday.

Should be a good weekend - looking forward to it.
