bigtonesfc Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Unbelieveable! http://www.charltonlife.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=28951&page=1#Item_0
Legod Third Coming Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I think that bodes well. Nervy crowd could translate to pitch... Straws clutching and all that!
bigtonesfc Posted 10 September, 2009 Author Posted 10 September, 2009 They`ve won 6 out of 6,we havent won yet,and they are sh%tting it! hehe
WGC Saint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 They've got Bailey (WHO?) & Racon (WHO?) as doubts and we've got Jaidi & Waigo starting....... make of that what you will and our reasonable form at Charlton and you come up with .....2-0 to Saints!
The Kraken Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 69% of them think they'll win. Another 13% think they'll only draw. Less than 1 in 5 think Saints will win. How does that translate to them "sh!tting themselves" exactly?
brmbrm Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Nice fans forum. If I'd been born and brought up near Charlton i reckon I could happily support them. Come on the stripey reds
Rebel Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I think it will be a close game Saints have been getting better with every game - and have added players to the squad who will go straight in to the first team in Waigo and Jaidi and with Trotman and Hammond recent additions to the squad as well its not the same team that started the season despite not having won a game yet - we haven't lost at home in the league yet either we are going to beat someone sooner or later - so why not Charlton? and I'm not sure Charlton will have faced a team yet with players of the quality of Saga, Lallana and Schneiderlin it does sound like the think they are as unlucky and afflicted as Saints fans though - they have no idea do they!?!?

As per my post on the prediction thread...a Charlton supporting friend of mine says they have been lucky thus far and teams have shown them far too much respect. Let's wait and see........I suspect I could be eating humble pie on Saturday evening, just for a change!
madsent Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 They've got Bailey (WHO?) & Racon (WHO?) as doubts and we've got Jaidi & Waigo starting....... make of that what you will and our reasonable form at Charlton and you come up with .....2-0 to Saints! I assume you're being sarcastic there. When Charlton beat us at St Mary's last season, Racon scored their second goal and Bailey scored the third. They are 2 of the best midfielders in the league and Bailey is also a major goal threat. I never believe it when the opposition team says they have key players doubtful. They usually make a miraculous recovery. I'm sure we'll see both players in the starting line-up on Saturday.
saint1977 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Forget about Charlton - 3-0 defeat and that Charlton team would do well in CCC but a chance for Papa and Jaidi to bed in and I think we will beat Yeovil and Carlisle and that will get us going on a run.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Saints have been getting better with every game This is clearly not true .
lordswoodsaints Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 I don't for the life of me understand what they are so worried about....we will get turned over and pardew will be given 90 minutes of abuse by the charlton and a few minutes by the saints fans.
Wes Tender Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 On their forum somebody thought that we would pack our defence and hit them on the break. If Parky thought that, I think he is in for a bad surprise. I think that we will play open attacking football with a solid defence giving us the encouragement to foray forward. We have to give them the respect that they deserve as leaders of the division, but if they don't respect us in return, they could pay for it by surrendering their unbeaten record.
Fan The Flames Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 We will beat them, its written in the footballing stars.
SNSUN Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Three words. Papa. Waigo. N'Diaye. Nice to have a secret weapon...
Harry Faz Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Three words. Papa. Waigo. N'Diaye. Nice to have a secret weapon... He is also unknown to us at the moment, lets hope he is as good as we all want him to be, would make a nice change
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Possibly four words. Not on your nellie ?
Draino76 Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Not on your nellie ? Yes, and 'we will walk this' also.
