trousers Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 May as well start this off a day or so early..... I've predicted a draw for most games thus far (yes, it's all my fault)....but I have a feeling in my urinary tract about this one.... Charlton 0 Saints 3 COYR!!!
Thedelldays Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 2-0 to charlton would be a hard game regardless of what form we are in....
offix Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I think we might just pull the upset: 1-3 Saints
red&white56 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 1-1 which, imo, is a good result for the Saints. COYR!
St Marco Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Personally i think this will be are hardest game of the season. They are a good team who have played together now for sometime and have gone through bad times and into good. A bit like what is happening now to us. After 10 months of doing the same thing i would expect us to be doing just as well results wise. However i would of loved this game to have been at the end of the season not now. I can see it being a very hard game and will go down 2-1. I would take a draw from this game, it would be a great result.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 3-1 Charlton, would most certainly settle for a draw though.
saint lard Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Charlton 2-1 saints. A narrow defeat, but another defeat all the same. Hope i'm wrong.
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 5-1 to Charlton, there is no way on gods green earth our current squad has the balls or the ability to go to The Valley and come away with a result.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 With Jaidi and Papa in the team, I reckon we'll run away with a 2-1 loss...or maybe, just maybe, we might actually let Charlton have the wrath of our administration and **** 'em 1-3 - it could happen...why? Because we're The Saints! COYS!
saint_disco123 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 god guys give it a rest.... stop saying we are going to lose all the time... 1-2 to saints COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!
the saint in winchester Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 May as well start this off a day or so early..... I've predicted a draw for most games thus far (yes, it's all my fault)....but I have a feeling in my urinary tract about this one.... Charlton 0 Saints 3 COYR!!! I like the way your urinary tract works :-) Charlton 1 Saints 2 (Jaidhi winner from corner)
unionhotel Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 A lot of Charlton fans are worried about this game and can see us winning. I'll go along with that! Saints 2-1.[-o
aintforever Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Charlton will be desperate to put one over on Pardew, Charlton 4 Saints 0.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 5-1 to Charlton, there is no way on gods green earth our current squad has the balls or the ability to go to The Valley and come away with a result. you could have said simliar thing last season when Saints won at Reading.
SFC Forever Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I can envisage a goal scored early and then a backs to the wall defensive display that allows us a first win. 0-1
ottery st mary Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Saints 2-1 .,..WINNERS at last....Saints better start winning sooooon.
altoniansaints Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Charlton 1 - Southampton 2 .............. it`s gonna happen COYR
Clifford Nelson Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Any team who has won six on the trot is coming closer to the first loss and any team who hasn't won in six is coming closer to the first win. We're the underdogs, but if we can get balls into the box and get midfielders into the box anything can happen.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Despite our recent form,im strangely optimistic about this one. 3-2 to the mighty Saints.
tonibell Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Think Saints will WIN going to do a bet 9/2 with Paddypower.co.uk
Gigersaint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 There was a time last season when we won games when we least expected to, namely Preston and Reading away in a short space of time when we had either lost or drawn all other games either side of those results. Maybe we can win at Charlton too when least expected but hopefully this time continue winning! Charlton 1-2 Saints.
Doctoroncall Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Think Saints will WIN going to do a bet 9/2 with Paddypower.co.uk bugger, better than the 7/2 I got at the beginning of the week!
St Marco Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Was looking at the previous games and we have not won in the last 7 games away there (could be more but could only look back over 7 seasons) so that is another stat that could fall potentially.
VectisSaint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I think we might sneak this one 2-1. Stats would suggest that Charlton will not win 7 games on the trot. Would take a draw though.
S-Clarke Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Maybe a bigger chance....? ''Charlton midfield duo Nicky Bailey and Therry Racon are concerns for Saturday's home clash with Southampton (3pm), Phil Parkinson has revealed.Racon picked up his hamstring problem in last weekend's 2-0 win over Brentford, while Bailey suffered the knee complaint in training on Tuesday, and both may be forced to sit out the fixture with Alan Pardew's Saints. The absence of either of the pair would see Parkinson forced to change his starting XI for the first time this season after naming the same side for the opening six league fixtures of the new campaign.Of the two players, Bailey is thought to be the most doubtful, but Parkinson insists he has other options available to him should the flame-haired star miss out''
WGC Saint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I was having a drink with a Charlton supporting (ST holder) mate of mine today and he says they are in a false position and have been lucky thus far and that the teams they've played have shown them too much respect..... I suspect we will do our usual and against the odds beat them 2-0. I think we're tight at the back and with Waigo up front wreaking havoc, it could just be our day and the start of the rest of the season. But then again how many false dawns have we had over the last couple of years?
chrisobee Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 We'll win, just not sure by how many ! Let's be realistic and say 2-0 Saints, Lambert and Waigo ( maybe from the bench) to score. Anything Derren whatisface can predict.........
Smirking_Saint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 This is where it starts, 5-1 saints
TVR_Fan Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I am going to say, that we will win it 2-1. Southampton Goals from: Lambert and Ndiaye Papa Waigo
Steel City Saint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Prediction: Unrealistic expectations on a Saturday morning...still. Jardi disappoints as does Papa Waigo. We all drown ourselves.
captainchris Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 2-0 to charlton would be a hard game regardless of what form we are in.... Looks about right..........
rick1976.4.38 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 nearly always a draw when we play the addicks but im predicting 2-1 to the mighty saints, coyr
Draino76 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 A lot of Charlton fans are worried about this game and can see us winning. I'll go along with that! Saints 2-1.[-o Yep. I have spoken to several and I'm surprised to find they are worried. If we sneak the 1st goal we will win this.
red&white56 Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Charlton 0-19 Southampton Wow Dude! that's a bit pessimistic, isn't it ?
red&white56 Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 0-0 but waiiigo hits the cross bar with an overhead kick from the half way line and does his celebration regardless. I want him to do his celebration even if he doesn't do much more than finish the game - he could be a Saints legend in the making (even if only for his celebrations!)
Bromley Saint Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 We'll definitely win because: They are top and we are bottom They haven't lost yet this season We haven't won yet this season Pardew is their former manager Their current manager was named Manager of the Month in League 1 for winning the first six games. Mark my words - absolute certainty! COYR
wimbornesaint Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Got it down on the prediction league as 2 - 2
