May as well start this off a day or so early.....

I've predicted a draw for most games thus far (yes, it's all my fault)....but I have a feeling in my urinary tract about this one....

Charlton 0 Saints 3

Personally i think this will be are hardest game of the season. They are a good team who have played together now for sometime and have gone through bad times and into good. A bit like what is happening now to us. After 10 months of doing the same thing i would expect us to be doing just as well results wise.

However i would of loved this game to have been at the end of the season not now.

I can see it being a very hard game and will go down 2-1. I would take a draw from this game, it would be a great result.

With Jaidi and Papa in the team, I reckon we'll run away with a 2-1 loss...or maybe, just maybe, we might actually let Charlton have the wrath of our administration and **** 'em 1-3 - it could happen...why? Because we're The Saints! COYS!

I like the way your urinary tract works :-)

Charlton 1 Saints 2 (Jaidhi winner from corner)

Any team who has won six on the trot is coming closer to the first loss and any team who hasn't won in six is coming closer to the first win. We're the underdogs, but if we can get balls into the box and get midfielders into the box anything can happen.

There was a time last season when we won games when we least expected to, namely Preston and Reading away in a short space of time when we had either lost or drawn all other games either side of those results. Maybe we can win at Charlton too when least expected but hopefully this time continue winning!

Charlton 1-2 Saints.

Was looking at the previous games and we have not won in the last 7 games away there (could be more but could only look back over 7 seasons) so that is another stat that could fall potentially.

Maybe a bigger chance....?

''Charlton midfield duo Nicky Bailey and Therry Racon are concerns for Saturday's home clash with Southampton (3pm), Phil Parkinson has revealed.Racon picked up his hamstring problem in last weekend's 2-0 win over Brentford, while Bailey suffered the knee complaint in training on Tuesday, and both may be forced to sit out the fixture with Alan Pardew's Saints. The absence of either of the pair would see Parkinson forced to change his starting XI for the first time this season after naming the same side for the opening six league fixtures of the new campaign.Of the two players, Bailey is thought to be the most doubtful, but Parkinson insists he has other options available to him should the flame-haired star miss out''

I was having a drink with a Charlton supporting (ST holder) mate of mine today and he says they are in a false position and have been lucky thus far and that the teams they've played have shown them too much respect.....

I suspect we will do our usual and against the odds beat them 2-0.

I think we're tight at the back and with Waigo up front wreaking havoc, it could just be our day and the start of the rest of the season.

But then again how many false dawns have we had over the last couple of years?

We'll win, just not sure by how many ! Let's be realistic and say 2-0 Saints, Lambert and Waigo ( maybe from the bench) to score. Anything Derren whatisface can predict.........;)

A lot of Charlton fans are worried about this game and can see us winning. I'll go along with that! Saints 2-1.[-o

Yep. I have spoken to several and I'm surprised to find they are worried. If we sneak the 1st goal we will win this.

0-0 but waiiigo hits the cross bar with an overhead kick from the half way line and does his celebration regardless.

I want him to do his celebration even if he doesn't do much more than finish the game - he could be a Saints legend in the making (even if only for his celebrations!)

We'll definitely win because:

They are top and we are bottom

They haven't lost yet this season

We haven't won yet this season

Pardew is their former manager

Their current manager was named Manager of the Month in League 1 for winning the first six games.

Mark my words - absolute certainty!
