Draino76 Posted 9 September, 2009 Posted 9 September, 2009 I am about to get a dog. The missus has chosen the breed; a husky. I however insisted on chosing its name. I was recently impressed with some guy calling his dog 'Strongbow', but I am leaning towards Dhalsim, Balrog, or Jesus. Have I missed any decent names?
saint_stevo Posted 9 September, 2009 Posted 9 September, 2009 Dave or Pele Have you considered Stevo?
Saint in Paradise Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Chum ( as it is a pedigree dog )
Block 18 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Call it "Musher" local connection and the command for a husky to move
swannymere Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 (edited) Nimrod, Neptune, Thor or any good, strong ancient god type name. Best bet is to go to where you would walk the dog and see how much of a **** you feel shouting out it's name. Hope you're fit, a bloody husky will need walking about 10 miles a day, twice;) Edited 10 September, 2009 by swannymere

Saint_Jonny Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Syndrome. For when he jumps on the sofa you can shout: DOWN SYNDROME! (terrible joke I know but I couldn't help myself.)
Suhari Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 I know someone with a Husky called 'Storm'. Cracking name I thought. The ancient God names have to be the way to go though. Makes you look intelligent too!
RedAndWhite91 Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Call it 'Namen' like you said in the thread title.
Scudamore Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Fetch Your dog should be called Starsky

AS mentioned above, I'd stand in a crowded park and shout some names to eliminate any silly ones. Try the ones above and see what response you get from bystanders.

Östlund:)
SNSUN Posted 12 September, 2009 Posted 12 September, 2009 Feltch I corrected it for you. Tango is a great name for a dog. (Based on laziness - I cannot think up a name and am drinking an Apple Tango)
