Thedelldays Posted 9 September, 2009 Posted 9 September, 2009 and I have tickets to see him next year... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEeCvOMcLZY
norwaysaint Posted 9 September, 2009 Posted 9 September, 2009 Don't download his "Mock the Week musings" podcast then, it's so embarrassingly bad it could put you off him for good. It sort of goes to show how important it is for comedians to spend time practising and sharpening a routine. I can't think why he would have wanted to release it into the public domain when it makes him look so weak. As it deteriorates he starts to develop a cringey high pitched giggle every time one of his jokes falls flat, which most of them do. I liked him until I heard it, now I just find it painful to watch him.
J Bizzle Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Jimmy Carr is the funniest man around. Bernard Manning was.
Julian H. Cope Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Lenny Henry Steven K Amos Sammy Davis Jr Bill Cosby
SuperMikey Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Jim Davidson's still got it. And by 'still got it', I mean his racist ideaology and penchant for xenophobia.
Smirking_Saint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 and I have tickets to see him next year... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEeCvOMcLZY So have i, cannot wait
Ash Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Sean lock Going to see him in a few weeks. Marcus Brigstock next week. Milton Jones after Sean Lock. Then in November Stewart Lee. Stewart Lee makes me feel all tingly.
Smirking_Saint Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Sean lock He makes me laugh, he was quality on SoccerAM last year
St Landrew Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 One bloke who I always find surprisingly funnier than I think he'll be is Hugh Dennis. When he does his Duke of Edinburgh voice-overs on Mock The Week, I nearly sprain my cheekbones.
Robsk II Posted 10 September, 2009 Posted 10 September, 2009 Jimmy Carr is the funniest man around. Bernard Manning was. Need any more evidence to prove that B Jizzle is a grade A moron?
Bentley Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 I'm going to say that Michael McIntyre is the funniest at the moment. Then again, he's popular in the public opinion, so I'm expecting everyone to shout me down.
Mr Tickle Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Lenny Henry Steven K Amos Sammy Davis Jr Bill Cosby Are you joking???? This bloke is quite possibly the unfunniest person alive! Ive had better laughs at funerals than watch this unfunny t wat!
Rattlehead Posted 11 September, 2009 Posted 11 September, 2009 Don't get me started on Lenny Henry and Dawn French, quite possibly the least funny people in the world. What a f*cking pair they are. Every morning, I go past a Dawn French billboard suggesting she's "Britain's funniest woman" and, whilst not a violent man, it makes me want to smash the sh*t out of it. It makes me quite cross actually. McIntyre and Carr occasionally funny but mainly not. Jack Dee is the best, bar none.
St Landrew Posted 12 September, 2009 Posted 12 September, 2009 The funniest at the moment..? Reginald D Hunter.
Thedelldays Posted 12 September, 2009 Author Posted 12 September, 2009 McIntyre was here in plymouth last night..I know loads who went and they all said it was brilliant..
Ludwig Posted 12 September, 2009 Posted 12 September, 2009 You've all got it wrong. The correct answer would have been 'Dylan Moran'. Unlucky, play again soon.
St Landrew Posted 12 September, 2009 Posted 12 September, 2009 You've all got it wrong. The correct answer would have been 'Dylan Moran'. Unlucky' date=' play again soon.[/quote'] Does answering Dylan Moran, in bold and in italics get you to the next level then..?
SuperMikey Posted 12 September, 2009 Posted 12 September, 2009 Boyle - Good that he doesn't do the stand-up round on MTW any more, because all his material was recycled at his gigs. Funny chap. McIntyre - The unfunniest c*nt known to man. Henry - See 'McIntyre' Lock - The funniest man around. Well done to whoever said that first. Moran - A very close second. Monster is my favourite comedy show.
miserableoldgit Posted 20 September, 2009 Posted 20 September, 2009 Will be seeing Alistair McGowan, Milton Jones, Stewart Francis and Lee Mack in the next few months. Saw Dave Gorman a couple of weeks ago. Most enjoyable.
