That is quite an achievement!

I’m not keen on Big Macs either… KFC is where it’s at for me. It’s yummy and got lot’s of protein so I don’t feel as guilty when eating it :p

KFC is quite something...how do they manage to get their chips quite so soggy on such a consistent basis?

yep and how they manage to broil the chicken and still leave it tough.IMO the poor birds have been used to produce hundreds of eggs a day and then get put into a bargain bucket

KFC's always seem dirty to me, I know most fast food chains are much the same but hygiene standards at KFC in particular seem poor, remember an incident in one years ago when the girl serving held the printed till order in her hand, when grabbing the chicken put the paper in her mouth and then threw it in the box, saliva with your order ? No thank you and can I have my money back please.

Yeah i've kinda refused to eat in KFC after a particularly grizzly food poisoning incident in my teens...as you say they just have a dirty feel the second you walk in the place...

KFC is great if you want a greasy face and fingers, the bones are by far the best part of it.

I normally just ask for a box of

bones and skin and a wet wipe to follow is taking the p¡ss as your fingers are that greasy it is almost impossible to tear open.

Round 2 on the loo.

Can't beat an XL Double Bacon Cheeseburger from BK.

Agreed, but TBH, if i am going to spend almost a tenner on something to eat it wouldn't be in BK.

KFC is pretty good tbh, if you want something quick, Big Mac's are **** though, better off having two double cheesburgers or a quarter ponder with cheese.

In all honesty though, most fast food places are sh!t and overpriced, give me a full english anyday, or even a crown carvery for £3, but then i can usually get away for a decent lunch at work.

I feel ashamed to eat any fast food now. In the moment, it's gorgeous, lovely and fulfilling. Afterwards, the realisation of what a completely substandard, fat-filled piece of crap comes hurtling into my conscience.

I can only liken the feeling to the horror and realisation when the beer goggles slide off.

Know what you mean, KFC's are a bit like women, once your finished with the breast and the thighs all thats left is a dirty old box.

The Gourmet Burger Kitchen is the place to be. I wouldn't take a crap in the rest, let alone eat in any of them...

I don't think I've ever been as disappointed in a take-away/eat in place as when I went to Gourmet Burger Kitchen. (Except perhaps the one and only time I ate in Nandos.)

Their burgers are downright expensive, hardly better than average, and on top of all that you're paying for all the extras. Not to mention we were served by a guy with one eye and copious amounts of dandruff which frankly put us off our meals. Very poor.

(Oh, and as for Nando's, I wish they'd make their minds up whether they want to be a restaurant or a takeaway. If the damn waiters want to swarm around my table looking for tips, the least they could do is take my order and get me some drinks without expecting me to do it. Awful. That said, as loathe as I am to ever go back to GBK, I could perhaps do Nandos again in an emergency, as their food wasn't overpriced.)
