Is all well and good, but when you're watching Saints get a corner and would put your house on Lallanna casually lobbing it to their keeper for an easy catch, and knowing that james is a sub standered midfielder.....it's hard going

40 games to go. I don't suppose anyone has noticed that all the sides we have played are top half of table even.

Write off Charlton and judge how many of the 9 points we take after that.

No, can't say I have noticed that. I must be looking at the wrong table.

don't let the truth get in the way of my argument please.

Anyway as no side has failed to get at least a point from us including 3 home games it's not really surprising is it.

We should be dominating this league, we aren't thus others are getting points from us tht they shouldn't be getting. Too many mediocre players, needed to spend big and not on one trick ponys like Lambert. The opposition in the main have had two or three seasons to study his game, they have now got him sussed and shackled.

james is a sub standered midfielder....:

One of the funniest moments of the day was in the first half. Ball was cleared out of their box and it came to James on the volley who was going to lob it (harmlessly) back in but only ended up spooning it in the air. Ball went up a mile but must have landed only a few yards from him..

The corners really are so ****ing harmless its embarrassing. Its gonna be even more frustrating now that we've actually got some height and heading ability in there (Hammond, Trotman, Lambert, Thomas and Jaidi from next week).

All we need is a respectable pacy cross and we'll have a chance.

Yeah but can somebody tell me that what is so difficult for a professional footballer to put a corner/cross in at pace?........I really don't understand it :smt102

My theory continues. We could sign half the Liverpool squad and we still wouldn't win. Why? Losing and non-winning mentality. We are, IMO, favourites for relegation because of this. We cannot win, and will not win until some sort of massive fluke comes around.

When we win, we might start getting some confidence, but for now, relegation is on the cards because Southampton has a disgusting on the pitch attitude at the moment, that has not changed since after we lost to Derby on Penalties. Whoever comes in, the lack of belief still seems to be there.
