We also started getting back on top when Schneiderlin was introduced. The defence is stronger than last season, and we have Lambert up front. But the defence need some buffer in front, to help defend, and Lambert needs supply. The problem is the lack of toughness, motivation and creativitiy in midfield.

Give them time when they have options to pass to, ie. WIDTH, Holmes, Mills, Papa Waigo, THEN decide if they're good enough to warrant a place. Excuses...

But our best time might not always be available, so we need players who can perform with any combination we put out. If they can only play with certain people and can't play with people worse than them, they aren't going to be much use to us this season.
