Why not? As usual, we'll perform better against better teams, and we may have better players available, ie. Mills, Holmes, Jaidi, Papa Waigo.

Charlton won't win every game. Might as well change against us. In fact, who better for them to lose their 100% record against than a team that hasn't won.

Perhaps with Pardew's return, but it just never happens to us does it?

Jeez; Colchester are a big team & it's no use Saints hitting it long & high. I think Pards can see this - hence Morgan on. We will only get chances by PLAYING football through them & around them.

I thought Fish was in then.

Lots of negative thoughts/comments on here. If it's the same amongst the supporters at SMS I hope it doesn't effect the team.

Have faith guys. One day we will start turning it around. ;)

It's hard not to get a bit negative when once again we are not winning a game we really should be and we're still a long way from having a positive number of points in the league.

against 10 men, too.

thinking daylight savings when we used to lose every week in the championship

It is, but in the worst way possible, because we can't moan! We know it's going to get better, we know we have better players coming back and new players coming in, and we know the manager needs time and will get time.

So we need to be patient, which sucks.

Is going to get better. Even more than an odd win?

Dean Hammond takes a shot from a long way out which goes wide of the right-hand post.

Effort from 30 yards by Morgan Schneiderlin. Save by Ben Williams.

I can see a trend here! desperation?

Melis aint up to it, Lallana and Schneiderlin need to go...

Lallana has sounded like our best (or at least most creative) player today.

We also started getting back on top when Schneiderlin was introduced.
