I quite like him....from the south, wears his heart on his sleeve...respect also for the way he celebrated in front of the northam when he scored for millwall in 03 in the FA cup..

I saw him commentating at SMS about 2 years ago and he was getting loads of stick from the fans and he was happy to dish it out back (all in good fun)...

for a skate ****....I like think he is alright

My son and I used to watch him at Cambridge Utd in their glory days when he partnered Dion Dublin.

John Beck the manager took the credit, but it was really due to a squad that matured and were much better than the opposition.

Claridge was always in trouble for not having his socks up, and being too much of an individual.

I think they hated each other.

playing for nothing too. An excellent gesture of someone giving something back to the game that he has already served well. Good on you Steve.

Did I hear correctly that Weymouth could go into administration THIS WEEK if they can't muster enough financial support? There saving grace could be that they actually own their ground (not the land).

I went to the The New Den for the replay, when Millwall scored the whole team ran away celebrating with the scorer, apart from Claridge who stayed infront of our fans goading us.

After Matty Oakley's extra time winner I just remember the whole stand singing "Claridge, Claridge, what's the score?"
